Grandmothers-SOUS

TGIF everyone.. Us gals are having our weekly reveal at SOUS again today, we have a great sketch this week and it was so much fun to work with.

Here is my layout and my take on the sketch.
I went through my grand mothers photos again trying to find some of her in there and I found these two that were taken at my cousins wedding back in 1997.. She looks so healthy and happy!!
I found a great quote on scrapbook.com that I hand journaled on some paper strips and then inked the edges
which I pop dotted onto the layout..
I also made my own flowers this week.. They really have become a great passion of mine.. I never look at real flowers the same again. :O)

Oh! and here is the sketch I used:

Supplies Used:

Cricut Cartridges:
Accent Essentials: Flowers
Storybook: Leaves
Songbird: Title

Papers by: K& Co
Cardstock: Cream, brown and green

Mini brown flowers by prima
green brads
Fiskars border punch: Sunray
Stickels: Green

Tim Holtz distress inks: Shabby shutters and Dried Marigold
Versa Colors: Brown
pink sheer ribbon

That about does it again this week.. Thank you everyone so much for looking.
Hope you get minute or two to stop by SOUS and see that the other design team members have created..
Hugs
Nanné
