Gifts-CE daily

Hi fellow scrappers.. I'm here to share a Christmas themed layout I created as my design team project for Creative Embellishments of my grand daughter who experienced her second Christmas this year.. This year being the first year she actually was able to open up her gifts and of course us grand parents had to take a lot of photos..
Here is the layout I created using one of the photos I took her on Christmas day..

She was such a little trooper and was in high spirits the entire time..
We thought she would tire out but nope, she kept on going and her favorite was a baby doll.. She definitely loves her baby dolls.

Here are a few close ups of my layout:

I absolutely love the holly border.. I decided to cut it into two pieces (getting more for my money) and adding one half to the top of my layout and other below my photo mat.. I also added both of the Holly Sprigs to my layout, they added a nice touch not being too long..  I painted my Holly border and sprigs using acrylic paint and then added some drops of red NUVO crystal drop.  I used the Distressed Script stamp and the crackled brick stencil to create my my background.

For the bottom of my layout, I added two of the corner flourish pieces, cutting them both in half as well.. I tucked the top half under the photo mat and then bottom half underneath the flap of the cut away corner piece.

I also used the mini quatrefoil panel, but I cut that into half as well, only using half and for the title and the little tag saying I used the Christmas Sentiments and the Merry Christmas titles.. These two sets are great for mixing and matching words..

My papers are by My Minds Eye and the flowers are by I am Roses and Prima Marketing.
And there you have my Christmas themed layout.. Thank you for stopping by and I hope I inspired you to get those Xmas photos developed and onto some of your favorite scrapbook layouts..

Till next time
Hugs

Merry Christmas layout

Hi fellow scrappers.. I'm here to share a Christmas themed layout I created as my design team project for Creative embellishments, using some of the fabulous Christmas themed chippies from the Creative Embellishments store.. I absolutely fell in the love with the flourish gift boxes and decided they needed to be blinged up and added to a layout for this years family photo (which has not been taken yet).
Here is the layout I created:
The photo doesn't do it justice, but I added lots of silver glitter to the bows of the gift boxes and around the naughty or nice element.
how about a few close ups:

I added some gold colored cardstock to the backs of the gift boxes and painted everything using white paint..

I painted the Merry Christmas title using gold paint to match my color scheme, using papers by Echo Park and Anna Griffin
and there you have my Christmas themed layout.. I cant' wait to get a family photo and get it onto this layout..
till next time

Christmas Baby layout-CE reveal

Hi fellow scrappers..
I'm here today to share a Christmas themed layout I created as mu design team project for Creative Embellishments, combining the large BABY word set and Merry Christmas titles set.

 Here is what I created:

The photos are of my grand daughter from last Christmas.. It was her first and now this year, we get to celebrate her second Christmas..

I used the Christmas Light strand by cutting it into three pieces and this was a good way to get it to stretch over my layout.. I also ended up combining the large BABY word with one of the Christmas sentiments from the Merry Christmas title set.. I covered the Christmas with Nuvo Crystal drops giving it some dimension.

I also added some ornaments to my layout.. I painted one pink and the other silver, tucking them both behind some flowers instead of them hanging..

and I created my own poinsettias using my Silhouette cameo, some white cardstock and distress oxides.. Super fun and easy..
And there is my project for todays design team reveal..  Thank you for stopping by today and checking out what I had created.. Till next time

Tag and card set

Hi fellow crafters!
I'm here to share a tag and card set I created as my design team project for Creative Embellishments for today's design team reveal.. and with those words, here is what I created:

How about some close ups and details:

The tag was created from some old corrugated cardboard I had hanging around the scrap room that I cut into a tag shape, size is about a 9x7 and I covered with some left over paper pieces I have from another project I had been working on, adding some snowflakes using the snowflake stencil and adding lots of fun elements.

I added the snow effect on the houses using Nuvo Crystal drops and white embossing powder that I set using my heat tool..

I wanted to create a matching card and knew it had to be a little bit simpler, so I started with the same techniques but kept everything semi-simple..

and there we have our tag and card combo.. These were a lot of fun to create and such a relaxing project.. Thank you for stopping by today and checking out my project..
Till next time.. Hugs Nanné p.s. Here are the items I used to create my project:
