Smile, It's Spring-PPPR reveal

I have a cute little Spring themed layout I created using cutting files from the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbon store..
Some of the cutting files were the Friday Freebies, so do remember to stop by every Friday to grab yours cause you never know when you'll get a cute idea on how to use one.

So, I decided to go with some softer Spring colors and some cute chicks (wink wink) and came up with this design:

I'll have to hunt down some photos for this layout or maybe even take a few new ones..LOL

How about some close ups and details:

This cute little chick is in the Cute Chick's Cutting file
and the Easter egg's are in the Hoppy Easter cutting file

and this cute little chick is the same, but I flipped the image.  This way
I could have them both facing towards the middle of the layout :)
The grass is from the Flower Assortment cutting file

The cute little bunny that I tucked behind one of the photo mats is
also from the Hoppy Easter Cutting File..
and I decided to use a few clouds and those are in the Baby Shower cutting file.

I also added a large circle in the back of the layout, which is from the Layered Labels 3 cutting file.

I also wanted to add some spring flowers and what better than a few tulips :)
Those are in the Flower Faces cutting files..

and for the bottom of the layout, I decided to use one of the designer elements from the Layered Labels 1 cutting file and stretched it to about 10" big and then used the knife tool in the SIL software to cut just the bottom off which is what I wanted to use :)  I also added two flourishes to help decorate my title and those are in the Friends Forever cutting file..

and there ya have the cute little spring layout I created as my Design Team project for today's post..
Thank you for stopping by and taking a look..

Project Life reveal- Use a stamp-SOUS

Happy Monday fellow scrappers and lifers..
Us girls over at SOUS were challenged to use either a stamped image, phrase or word on our project life spread and I went with two out of the three..
I decided to grab some of my small paper stacks that I've been holding onto and then some corrugated cardstock I just recently purchased at a craft supply store..  I then rummaged through some of my stamp sets and decided to use two different ones..

Here is what I created:

I decided to go with some spring colors since we got spring a little earlier than normal this year, no complaints..

How about some close ups of the cards I created:

I used some alphabet stamps to the create the "fifteen" strips..
The corrugated cardstock is by DCWV.

One of my photo cards..
I stamped the butterflies using a butterfly stamp by Prima Marketing, then colored them in with some fine tip markers from my stash..
The corrugated butterflies are a MS punch..

I also used a bee stamp by Prima Marketing on my card, then used the MS butterfly punch to punch out a few more butterflies..
the small flowers and leaves are both a Fiskars punch..

The little birds and phrases are die cuts from the SIL store..

For my baby hope project, I decided to use some of those adorable baby cutting files and created a layout using one of my sons' (Aaron) photos.

He was such a cute little chunky monkey..LOL

how about a few fun close ups and some details:

is this little guy cute or what?.. I absolutely love him to pieces :) He is in the Changing Time cutting file.
Tucked him behind some clouds and added the little baby bottle, they can be both found in the Baby Shower cutting file...

extreme close ups..
I added a little chalk to his cheeks and added a few dots with my white marker...
The text on the clouds is also a font I used and used the Print option..

My title..
I attached the font to the circle and created the white shadow to highlight the soft tones..

I also added this heart balloon (heart balloon cutting file).. I used the swiss dots embossing folder on the large heart of the balloon..
Decided to add the blue foot prints (Mommy to be cutting file)  to the middle heart, using the print and "not cut" option..  looking at this now, I wish I would of added some more goodies to that basket :)
The cute little hearts are in the Baby Shower cutting file..

Easter Treat Bags- PPPR project reveal

As some of you already know,  I live in Finland and here we get little happy Easter witches and bunnies that come gathering Easter goodies from door to door on Palm Sunday..  For this year, I decided to create some cute little goody bags for them.. I made two different ones, one for a boy and one for a girl..

I filled the little bags with Easter goodies.. Not too many cause they are little kids that come by and dont want to over load them with sugar :)

I used the Handle Treat bag topper cutting file.. I flooded them with colors and prints using my SIL software, printed them and then cut.. It was quick and simple, my kind of a project when you have to create lots of them :)

I added detail with the fun bunny ears, which can be found in the Bunny Photo Props cutting file, the Scalloped circle is in the Layered Labels 3 cutting file and the Easter egg I used was in the Hoppy Easter cutting File..  I attached the scalloped circle with foam tape, but the topper was easy to apply to the bag with my ATG tape runner..

So much fun and so easy to create these fun treat bag toppers.. Now, I just cant' wait till Sunday so I can give these away to all those happy little Easter witches and bunnies that will come knock on my door  :)

Have a Scrap-tastic week
