Catch of his life layout-CE reveal

Hi fellow crafters..
I'm here sharing a whimsical layout I create as my design team project for Creative Embellishments, using the new "Fishing set!" chippies..
Here is what I created:

I had a lot of fun creating this layout.. The photos are of my daughter, her boyfriend and their daughter.. I loved the title and thought these photos would be perfect for this layout, since they are all together..
How about a few close ups:

I used Distress oxide ink pads to color the chipboard pieces, making it super easy :)
and there you have my whimsy layout for todays reveal..
Thank you for stopping by and checking out my project.. Till next time

Guest design-More Than Words challenges

Hello scrappy peeps..
We at Creative Embellishments got together with More Than Words challenges and some of us design team members got to guest design for the MTW challenges..

Our challenge was as follows:

and here is what I created for this challenge:

We were asked to use STARS on our project and I decided to use the Twinkle little star stencil from Creative Embellishments and our topic was the FUTURE so I wanted showcase my grand daughter who is transitioning from crawling to walking.  Which is something that I am very looking forward to..
How about some close ups of my layout:

I used a solid color gray cardstock for my background along with Prima Marketing papers., the smaller stacks are a great value to use on your bigger projects..  I then added lots of fun chipboard elements and finally the flowers to coordinate with the colors of my layout..

I hope you join the girls over at More Than Words challenges this month, lots of great prized to be won if you join the challenges..
Thank you for stopping by today
and till next time..
Hugs

Tag and card set

Hi fellow crafters!
I'm here to share a tag and card set I created as my design team project for Creative Embellishments for today's design team reveal.. and with those words, here is what I created:

How about some close ups and details:

The tag was created from some old corrugated cardboard I had hanging around the scrap room that I cut into a tag shape, size is about a 9x7 and I covered with some left over paper pieces I have from another project I had been working on, adding some snowflakes using the snowflake stencil and adding lots of fun elements.

I added the snow effect on the houses using Nuvo Crystal drops and white embossing powder that I set using my heat tool..

I wanted to create a matching card and knew it had to be a little bit simpler, so I started with the same techniques but kept everything semi-simple..

and there we have our tag and card combo.. These were a lot of fun to create and such a relaxing project.. Thank you for stopping by today and checking out my project..
Till next time.. Hugs Nanné p.s. Here are the items I used to create my project:
