Good Morning everyone..
Sorry for the delayed post, but my job has been keeping extremely busy all week..
Thank god today is a holiday all of the businesses are closed for the day..
I spent a few hours finishing up this layout this morning, I wasn't completely happy with the end result Thursday, but I also that I wouldn't be able to finish it to my liking till Saturday morning..
I am extremely happy with how this layout has turned out..
*Oh, I want to say a very special thank you to Brenda Smith for her great work on an explosion box she had made for her son, that is where I seen the clip board (Fab finds cart) and I knew I had to find a way to use it..LOL
I also wanted to say that I got these papers from Generations crafting and this is also a layout I did for her website as a design team member.. killing two birds with one stone.. I normally would not have done it this way, but I really really love these papers, they are so masculine and perfect for teenage boys.
Here are some close ups of the layout:
All of the puzzle pieces were first cut with chipboard and then covered with paper, edges I distressed with Walnut Stain.
Clipboard is from the Fabulous Finds cartridge, first cut with chipboard, then with brown paper and on the back its covered with gray cardstock.. distressed edges with black ink and added some Tim holtz tags and an IKEA mini pencil..
close up of the clipboard.
My boys!! Aaron, my oldest son is on the left and Adam, my youngest is the right.
