Bath time-Ce daily

Hi fellow scrappers..
I'm  here to share a whimsical layout I created as my design team project for Creative Embellishment of my grand daughter taking her bath.. I absolutely love these cute little tropical fish and once I colored them Ranger Distress Oxides, I loved them even more..
Here is what I created:
I've been holding onto these papers for some time now just waiting for the right layout idea to come along and since we get to see our little grand daughter a lot, I was lucky enough to get some photos of her taking her bath a few weekends ago.. Since we live in Finland, we do not have a bathtub, so we bought a baby pool for her to play in..

Here are some close ups and details of my layout:
I used several colors of Distress Oxides on my chippies, I wanted them to have a layered look.. then added some white paint drops using my little paint bottle which is also by Ranger.

I used a bubble stencil and light texture paste to add some texture to the back ground.

Adding lots of fun little fish and bubbles all over my layout..
I finally used a white gel pen and fine tip black marker to add eyes to the fish.
and there you have my whimsical baby bath time layout.. It was super quick to create and fun to color.. Using Distress Oxides to color  your chipboard elements gives it a great look and they dry super fast :)

Thank you for stopping by today.. Till next time..
Hugs

BOY word album-CE daily

Hi fellow scrappers..
I'm here to share a BOY word album I created as my design team project for Creative Embellishments,  using some photos of my boys when they were younger..
They are both young adults now, but is so much fun going through old photos..

Here is what I created:
This was a fun project.. The album was easy to cover with paper, just used some glue on a stick and stuck the paper down.. Aftwards I took a craft knife and trimmed the paper around the letters.. I also used my Zutter Bind it all for the rings. I knew this album was not going to be super thick and chunky, so using the bind it all was a good idea..

when you flip the first page, I added a photo and some fun elements to decorate these pages.. I used the BIG from the basic Alphabet set, some stars from the New star pieces set and then the New Punchinella pieces..

I also created some word art using my Cricut and then added some elements using dies..

and there is my weekend project.. it was a lot of fun adding little details here and there, mixing chipboard with paper elements.. I was able to keep it semi flat, so not too much bulk.. Thank you for stopping by today and checking out the project I had been working on.. Till next time. Hugs

Dream a little Dream layout-CE daily

Hi everyone.. I'm here today to share my design team project with you all and I absolutely fell in love with what I created.. I had darling photo of my grand daughter and her grand father taking a nap together, which I took a few weekends ago.. She has been a little handful trying to put down for a nap and this was definitely an easy way to get her to nap..
Here is what I created:
The papers I used are by Prima, its their Heaven Sent collection..

Here are a few close ups of my layout:

I used Distress Oxide inks to color in my chipboard elements.
For the title I used : Vintage photo, Worn lipstick and Candied Apple distress oxides.
I did some hand doodling on the edge of my layout and around the edges of the different pattern papers.. I used a black fine tip Zig marker.

used the same colors of Oxide ink for the dream catcher, leaving the edge of it white.. The butterflies are a paper punch and I used coordinating papers for the butterflies.  The flowers and leaves are all by I am Roses.

and same for the feathered photo frame.. adding some white paint for accent here and there..
Thank you for stopping by today and checking out my design team project..
Till next time
Hugs
