Ho Ho Ho-layout for CDD

Hi everyone.. Here today to share a pocket card style layout I created using some fun die cuts and a few sentiment stamps :)
So, fun to create some individual cards and sentiment stamps are perfect for little touches of detail..

Here is what I created:

My three  kids are all grown up..
My daughter moved out a while ago, my eldest son is in the army till next March and he will not be home this Christmas, which makes me sad :(  Although, he will be able to join us Friday the 26th for the weekend..
I wanted to create something I can add photos of all of my kids onto this Xmas..
since we usually all under the same room during the Christmas holidays..
and this year, were hoping my Mother-in-law will be joining us as well, so everyone keep your fingers crossed..

How about a few close ups:
I used the "Christmas Wishes!" stamp from the Simply Christmas stamp set on this cute little label.

and for this adorable santa face, I cut out a blurb die cut and added the "Ho Ho Ho" which is also from the Simply Christmas stamp set..

Here is the stamp set I used:

and you can buy it HERE

Thanks for stopping by today
and have a great day

I decided to create a big santa's bag of toys to hold one of my photos.. then added a cluster of fun Xmas goodies to the bottom of the layout along with a wish list :)

How about a few close ups and some details:
The word "Christmas" in the title is in the Christmas Cookie cutting file..
I then added one of the snowflakes (also in the Christmas Cookie cutting file) to replace the "O" in joy..

Here is my big santa sack :)  also added a stocking which is in the Christmas Stockings cutting file.

This cute little elf is in the Santa's Helpers cutting file..I just used the face and hands :)
The gift boxes are in the Jolly St. Nick cutting file.

My perfume bottle (potion bottles cutting file), cute little teddy bear (Santa's Helpers cutting file) and the big opened scroll (Hats off cutting file).. I printed the text "wish list!" onto the scroll with some fonts I have in my font stash :)

and a closer look at the bottom corner..I also added a few scrolls with ribbons as well, those are also in the Hat's off cutting file..

I decided to create a Christmas card holder to hold all our Xmas cards we get this year..
I have it hung up in my kitchen and I already have my first xmas card tucked in nicely in the pocket I created..

I used the clipboard cutting file and some chipboard to create the base of  my little card holder..
and then some cute files to decorate it..

how about a few close ups and some details:

I cut some of the stars in the "Best Buddies-cutting file" and created these 3D stars with them..
added some foam tape to the backs and attached them to wire which I tucked in underneath my flap to my pocket..

I printed the the words right onto the paper which I attached to the back of the clipboard..
The little twig looking things are from the Winter Cardinal cutting file and the scalloped edge to my pocket is in the Borders 2 cutting file

The cute little ginger bread men are in the Christmas cookies cutting file, the hearts are in the Valentines Sweets cutting file and the snow flakes are in the Winter Wonderland cutting file..

and this is what is looks like hanging up with my first xmas card tucked in the pocket..
It's not the best photo.

Life is short so lick the bowl- card for CDD Design team

Hi eveyrone..
I'm here to share a cute little holiday card I created using one of the sentiments from the "Baked With Love!" stamp set by Craftin Desert Diva's..

Here is what I created:
I'm on a twine kick right now..LOL Every project has to have some twine on it and for this card, I ran it along the edge of my card and added a little bow above my sentiment label..

for my sentiment, I heat embossed it onto brown cardstock using white embossing powder and white pigment ink.. it got a little messy, but I think its just the brand of embossing powder I was using..I actually prefer ranger, but had none in white :)  That's going on my Xmas wish list :)

Here is the stamp set I used:
and you can buy it HERE

I planned on creating a December Daily this year.. and how perfect is this sentiment stamp set for all of my holiday baking pages..

and there ya have my cute little Xmas card I created..

Today is the first sketch challenge for us Design team members of S.O.U.S
for the month of December..

I'm going to share with you my take on today's sketch and here it is:

We had our first snow arrive last week and I had to take some photos while on break at work :)

Here's some close ups and details:
added a heart flourish and with some snow flakes on it..
little drops of baby blue stickles for added details..

Added some Diamond stickles to the white of the hat..

my mittens and scarf.. winter essentials..LOL

and finally my title..
I cut this using my Cricut and the Winter Woodland cartridge..

and their ya have my take on our sketch..
Do stop by S.O.U.S and check out some of the changes we're working on so we can inspire you on a daily basis :)

Christmas Cookies layout-PPPR reveal

It's my turn to share a layout with you that I created as my design team project for Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbon..
I baked and decorated my very first sugar Christmas cookies last year and thought it was time to scrap a page of it :)

Here is what I created:
I used the Christmas Cookies Cutting file for all of the cookies and the title "Christmas!"..
I added details using twine, ribbon, Zazz glitter glue and liquid pearls..

How about some close ups and details:

I added a photo of my cookie decorating..LOL Not too bad for my first attempt..
framed my photo using one of the labels from the Layered Labels 3 cutting file..

I used the top part of the Christmas cookie phrase from the Christmas cookies cutting file.
 Love this font..

I wanted a fun play on words style of title and so added two wreath cookies to replace the O's in the work Cookies.. Those are in the Christmas cookies cutting file.

These cute little guys are also in the Christmas cookies cutting file..

I also added two little tags and tucked those behind a few cookies..
The tags can be found in the Layered tags 1 cutting file..

and there ya have it, my post  for today..
