Bountiful Harvest

Hi fellow scrappers..
I'm here to share my Autumn theme layout that I created as my design team project for Creative Embellishment ..  First of all, I grew up in South Florida where we never really got to experience the different seasons, so since we moved to Finland, I am absolutely loving the amazing colors of Autumn.. When September rolls around, my daughter and I spend quality time together by walking through the woods next to our family home and we pick wild mushrooms and yes, we know exactly which ones to pick..

I created a layout of my daughter as she's on the mushroom hunt..
We always have a lot of fun together and once you start making good finds, cause they are sparse, then you get excited and want to keep looking.. Must be an adult thing cause my daughter was telling me how she hated going into the woods for mushrooms when she was younger..LOL

I struggled a little bit finding just the right colors to go with my color scheme.. I decided to stay with browns and oranges, adding the chipboard leaves that I painted orange and yellow using distress oxide ink pads.

The title sentiment makes perfect sense to our day out.. We found so many mushrooms that we had share with friends and family..

I got the ombre look with different colors of distress oxides..

I got such good use out of the Floral lace border piece.. I cut it into several pieces and tucking a few around my photo area, then cutting a strip into two pieces and adding it to the cut away portion at the top of my layout.. then adding orange colored flat back pearl to the centers..
and there's my layout for todays reveal.. I love the look of mixing raw chippies and colored ones..

Thank you for stopping by today and checking out my project..
Till next time..

Beautiful layout

Hi fellow scrappers..
I'm here sharing a layout I created as my design team project for Creative Embellishments using these adorable fairy chippies and of course I had to use photos of my grand daughter.
She is definitely my little cutey and we love spending every minute with her when we can..
I used a few background stamps and a stencil to create the background to my layout.. That's always so much fun.

How about a few close ups and some details:

I used the delicate leaves frame to frame my photos.. I wanted stay with my color scheme, so painted it white and added pink leaves..

and these adorable fairys.. I also painted them white and then rubbed a little Worn Lipstick Distress Oxides to the wings.

I also wanted to use up all of the delicate leaves frame, so I cut off a piece that would of tucked behind the papers and used those to dangle from the top of my layout, adding another fairy and some flowers..
and that's my layout for todays reveal..
thank you for stopping by and taking a look at my layout..
Till next time

Family-CE reveal

Hi fellow scrappers..
I'm here sharing the layout I created as my design team project for Creative Embellishments for todays reveal.  I love using the stencils and stamps to create my own background prints. For today's layout, I used Distressed patterns and the Falling Hearts stencils, plus the distressed script stamp to create my background.

Here is what I created:
I also used lots of chipboard goodies on my layout..

How about a few close ups:

I used the family banner from the Family banner set and I also used the mesh pieces chippies.

I also used the bigger frame in the Fancy Oval Frames set

and for my flourish, I used the Flourish set 14.. I ended up cutting a few pieces off that would of just ended up behind my papers, so this way I could use them on my layout instead..
and that's my layout for todays reveal..

Thank you for stopping by and checking it out..
Till next time
