Beautiful Moments-SOUS sketch reveal

Hope everyone is having a great Good Friday.. I'm enjoying a day off from work and I'll be creating something that's for sure, then doing a big dinner for the family..
Us girls over at Stuck on U Sketches are having our sketch reveal today and our very own Sandi Clarkson created this weeks original sketch.. I had a lot of fun with this one, it was so nice to be able to create something different from the norm...  I don't have a photo for this layout, but I'll be hunting one down from my son's girlfriends facebook photos since she posts a lot of them together..

so with that said, here is my layout for today's reveal:
I once again designed this layout using the Silhouette (SIL) design edition software.. The papers are a hybrid kit by Cartabella.. Everything you see has been printed with my printer and then cut with the Silhouette Cameo..
How about some close ups:
I found the view master in the SIL (silhouette) online store and it was only 0,79 cents..

The tags and title belong to the embellishments of the kits I used.. just traced them, printed and then was able to cut them with the Cameo..
Added some red Stickles to the title, but wasn't able to get it all perfect..

The flowers are a die cut, added pearl halves to the centers.. inked the edges with a pink chalk.

The butterflies are a Martha Stewart punch, large flowers were a die cut from the Silhouette store..

added some pearl swirls and some white liquid pearls to the butterflies..

For supplies used:

Silhouette Design edition software
(flowers, view master and trim)
Silhouette Cameo

Hybrid kit by: Cartabella
Beautiful Moments collection
(Prints, sentiments, title, tickets, calendar and photo corner)

pearls
Martha Stewart butterfly punch
inks: pink, brown and black
stickles
white liquid pearls
foam tape
black and white card stock

I'm thinking thats all of the supplies.. I had so much fun playing with this hybrid kit, need to keep an eye for more.. never can have too many..LOL
well ladies.. Do stop by SOUS and see what amazing layouts our design team has created for you this week and were saying special good bye to one of our very special designers..She's been with us for two years.. Its never easy to say good bye...

Pastels Challenge-WW reveal

As Spring  is slowly (very slowly) sneaking up on us, the girls over at Whimsical Designs was challenged this week with a Pastels challenge.. Stephanie gave us a photo for inspiration and I decided to create a Birthday card for my niece who just turned 15 about a week ago..  She is into skateboarding and after a little searching through the Silhouette online store for a skate board, I came up with the idea for this card:

I figured pastels was a great choice of colors since this is for a girl..LOL

Here is the inspiration photo:

and for some close ups:

I thought to use a road sign for the placement of the sentiment..

I attached most of the die cuts with foam tape and added some faux stitching to the edge of the card

for added detail, I inked the edges and then added dots of different colored Stickles.

for supplies used:

Silhouette Cameo
Sil design edition software

Die cuts: Silhouette Online store
Canon printer

Sentiment stamp: Whimsical Designs
"Whimsical Fun collection!"

Prints: Digital kit
White cardstock
Stickles
foam tape
Black fine tip marker

Stroller card-SOUS Die Cut reveal

Oh yea... A free weekend to look forward to but first,  let me share a card that I created for our Die Cut reveal over at Stuck on U Sketches..
I will admit that this challenge was a bit of a brain picker with me since I don't have small kids, babies or grand-babies yet.. in no hurry for grand-babies..LOL
So, after picking my brain I text messaged one of my co-workers who just happens to be very pregnant and asked her if she had an ultrasound yet and if so, which baby was she expecting.. A little girl is in the works she said... yes!! I decided to create a stroller card for her for when the baby is born to congratulate her..
and so, here is my card:
I'm so much fun with the Cameo and the SIL software.. it just blows my mind how much fun its been creating new and unique projects (for cheap)..

I have a few close ups for you:

I used a rub on sentiment for this card..
The flowers are also cut with the cameo..

Some faux stitching and liquid pearl drops.. I did ink the flower petals with a light brownish ink by colorbox-chalk inks

 for supplies used:

Silhouette Cameo
SIL design edition software

Stroller card: SIL online store
Flowers: SIL online store
border: SIL online store

Buttons and Bows reveal-Whimsical Designs

I've been dying to create one of these keep sake boxes and I finally got the chance..  About a week ago, I received a package from Stephanie and she had sent me lots goodies and with those goodies came a wooden box..  I knew I wanted to do some mixed media on it and add lots pretty flowers, etc..

So, here is what I ended up with:
This was kind of difficult to photograph, so I have a lot of pics for you..
But as you can see, I layered lots of papers (by Prima), then did some inking and stamping. Finally cut out two big hearts out of thick paper and glued them to the middle of the lid.. Adding lots of pretty pink flowers by IamRoses, big pink Ribbon, pearl trim and a cute sentiment by Whimsical Designs..

and here is the sketch:

How about a few close ups:
the photo I dragged and dropped into the SIL design edition software into a circle shape. then was able to print it onto white cardstock and cut with my cameo.. How amazing is that?.. love that option and you really can create a photo into any shape and no more playing around with settings trying to get the photo cut in the right place..

Absolutely loved these EP elements.. had a hard time choosing which ones to use since they were all so super cute..

Lucky-Die Cut reveal SOUS

Oh I'm so happy its finally Friday.. Been a long week since I went back to work last Monday from having a week and half of vacay... Its rough going back to work..LOL
Another reason I'm happy its Friday is cause I get to share a layout with you created for our Die cut reveal over a SOUS..
This week our very own Sandi Clarkson asked us to use a SHAMROCK on our projects and since we don't celebrate St.Patty's day here, it took me a few to come up with something with a shamrock and so, this is what I designed:
I apologize for the photo being a little fuzzy.
plus, I printed the actual photos on the layout and that photo paper really sucked.. lesson learned, do not buy cheap photo paper..

Love these photos of my hubby laughing.. These were taken a few years back while we were on vacation in Florida visiting family and friends.. We had a cook out at my dad's house and invited our friends over to eat and drink :)  I want to create a mini album of that evening, we all had so much fun catching up ..

I do have some good close ups:

Love this cute title.. plus the border cut so clean..

My cute St.Patty's hat, added some pearls to the trim..

The tree was awesome.. I added the flowers and shamrocks as details..

and my favorite part, the beer stines.. which were my hubby's fav's as well...LOL

 Designs on Cloud 9..

and so, here is my layout for this weeks reveal:

Here's a few close ups for you:

added some pink, green and diamond stickles

Here you can see all of the pretty prints I used.. All are a digital scrapbooking kit I bought online..They print pretty darn good with my home printer.

I attached all of the die cuts with foam tape and then used a sentiment from the "With Love" collection which I stamped on the bottom photo corner..

These birds are too cute.  The title I created myself..

The entire layout was designed with the Silhouette Design Studio software..

My stars, one big one and two smaller ones.. all colors match the paper line I used:

I seen this tag and fell in love with the sentiment, so I wanted to make it part of my title..

I wanted to add some elements to the corners of the title at the bottom of the layout and thought these were perfect.. I added drops of Glossy accents to the whites of the domino's..

here you can see the glossy accents I added to the "brad" wanna be's...LOL

My daughter Amber and my eldest Son Aaron.  This photo was taken almost two years ago..
