Sweet Kitty LO-Sketch reveal SOUS

Hi fellow scrappers..

I'm here today to share my layout for our sketch challenge reveal for S.O.U.S and I decided to create a fun kitty themed layout for my daughter..

Here is my take on this sketch:
I went facebook stalking again and got some cute photos of my daughter with her cat..

How about a few close ups and some details:

wanted to add some playful lettering to my layout and found these on the Kate's ABC's Cricut cartridge..

The cluster of photos...

I added lots of layers to this layout..

All of the die cuts I used on my layout are located on the  Kate's ABC's Cricut cartridge.
except for the fancy background, that is a Cameo image that I found in the SIL store..

and their you have it, my fun take on this weeks sketch ..

Spring is in the Air-Project life

Hi fellow crafters..
I'm here today to share a  Project life spread I created using some of the cute cutting files from the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbon store..

Here is what I created:

this is the left side of the page

Last week we had pretty much had our first week of spring..
I want to show case what we did last week, bu adding some fun cutting files to my spread..
for example, My husband oiled our wooden patio and furniture, he made a holy mess outside and had to have his beer while doing it..  He also ended up complaining the whole time, so I had to add the cute little angry crab along with my phrase, cause I love him even when he's being a little crabby..LOL

and now for the right side:

I baked some chocolate chip cookies and as I was eating a few, my dog was begging for some and barking at the crows that were flying around our back yard..  I added the sun cause it was a sunny week and we had high temperatures at 10 celcius (not sure what that is in Fahrenheit, but its still a bit cold).  I did add the fence, half painted with the paint can of black wood oil, since that is what I ended up buying..  the umbrella is cause it did rain for a few days last week and the tree's are starting to bloom, so had to add some flowers to my spread..

Here are the files I used to create my Project life pages:

fence
Trees
pale set

flower pots and planter

Crab
Chunky arrow

Umbrellas and Sun with clouds

Flowers
Leaves

Cookies
Crow

Beer bottle
tag
Photo mats

Rake

and there ya go fellow crafters..
Thank you for stopping by today and checking out my project..
Till next time..
Have a scrap-tastic week

Here is what I created:

Those mushrooms are definitely a favorite of mine  and so is that adorable hedgehog..LOL
I wanted to add hills to the background and found those in the Home Sweet Home cutting file, and that moon was a definite must have and that one I found in the Haunted Scenery cutting file.

how about some close ups and details:

I wanted to add the tent and needed the sleep bags of course :)  Those are both in the Camping Fun cutting file.  The path behind the tent is from the Home Sweet Home cutting file.

This cute little guy, well he can be found in the Forest Critters cutting file and those great trees are in the Big Foot cutting file

The hedgehog is also in the Forest Critters cutting file

Happy Birthday Tag-CDD daily

Hi fellow scrappers...
I'm here today to share my design team project for Craftin Desert Diva's and it's a mixed media style tag I created with my daughters birthday in mind, using the Bring on the Cake stamp set and some of my favorite stencils, inks and sprays, oh my!! LOL
Here's what I created:
I started off with a simple piece of white cardstock, used my corner chopper to create the tag shape..
Just started layering color using distress inks, added some texture with stencils and decorative paste.

Then stamped the Birthday and 26 using the stamps from the Bring on the Cake stamp set, adding some high lights using a white gel pen..

The tag needed a little something, so stamped the Happy Birthday onto some distressed white cardstock using the Fired Brick distress ink.. attached it above the heart using foam tape..

I had cut the heart, sprayed it with Fired Brick distress spray stain, inked the edges with black distress ink, adding some detail with a white gel pen and dry brushing with white paint..
I also wanted to add some girly touches, so I though it needed some flowers and leaves..
which I also dry brushed with white paint..

Here is the stamp set I used:
and you can buy it HERE

and there you have my distressed tag :)
I want to thank you for stopping by today and taking a look at my project..
Hope you all have a scrap-tastic week..
hugs
