Love layout -CE daily

The year 2017 is almost over and I hope it has been an amazing year for everyone..
We had some ups and we had some downs, but we were blessed with our first grand baby on the 25th of November and I am here today to share my very first layout I created of her as my design team project for Creative Embellishments..
Here is my layout:

I used some old Basic Grey paper I found in stash, along with some chipboard elements, flowers and washi tape.
I fussy cut some of the papers I used, love the swirls in the patterns of the background paper.  I used foam tape to give them some dimension and then added some pink, cream and green flowers along with white leaves to my layout.
I used the deer chippies.. I loved that it looked like the mom deer watching over her foal.
I added some snow flake past to the chipboard elements, flowers and punched butterflies, then added white paint to soften everything.
Love this sleigh.. I wanted to look like it was covered in snow..
and finally the title to my layout.. This LOVE banner is so cute.. painted it white and added drops of pink liquid pearls .
Thank you for stopping by today and checking out my last DT project for the year 2017.  Hope to see you in 2018 :)
Happy Crafting everyone

Joy - CE daily

Hi fellow scrappers..
I'm here to share a fun Christmas themed layout I created as my design team project for Creative Embellishments.. I wanted to change up the color scheme to my xmas tree this year and so, I thought what a fun way to show case it than to create a layout around the colors.. I wanted a white and silver tree with accents of light blue and brown..
So, here is the layout I created and our Christmas tree for this year:
Nothing harder than trying to photograph your Christmas and trying to get the colors just right..LOL

For this layout, I was able to use those adorable little elf chippies.. I decided to keep them white to go with my theme..
I also decided to keep some of the chippies natural, only dry brushing them with white paint to add a little highlights.
It was an important to element to myself to add the year.. I other wise probably would forget which year this photo was taken :)
I adore these window chippies.. I painted mine white (to match our house) and then added some silver ribbon to the back to look like curtains.. I also added some snowflake paste to the window, added some mini art stones and then dry brushed everything with white paint to help them all blend together..
Thank you for stopping by today and checking out my project..
Till next time

Adore layout-CE daily

Hello Fellow scrappers.. I'm here to share a winter themed layout I created as my design team project for Creative Embellishments using a few photos of my daughter, who by the way became a mom for the first time last Saturday (Nov 25th).. We received our very first grand baby, a little girl .. So, you will see lots of baby girl layouts in the future..LOL

But for now, here is the layout I created for today's reveal:
Firstly, let me just start by saying how much I love those trees.  It was super easy to get some texture on them. I used some Snowflake paste by Prima and then painted them white.. I wanted that extra white look, so that is the reason why I painted over the snowflake paste, which you totally don't have if you don't want to..
I adore these hanging snowflakes.. I decided to cut them apart, so I could more and was able to scatter them through my layout. I decided to paint them white and add some pink flat back gems..

I wanted to create a little texture to the background of my layout, so I used  the snowflake stencil and texture paste.
Here you can really see the detail and texture the snowflake paste added to the trees.. I also dry brushed some white paint to the flower clusters I created..
I cut one of the mini frames in two and tucked it behind my photo mat.. one on the bottom and the other half on top.  for some final detail, I added some clean plastic drops through out the layout, wanted it to resemble water drops :)
Thanks for stopping by and checking out my layout..Till next time
