Together we have it all

Hi fellow scrappers..
I'm here to share a layout I crated as my design team project for Creative Embellishments using my favorite chipboard elements from the Creative Embellishments store..
Here is what I created:

I absolutely adore the title sentiment and when I found this photo of my daughter and her family, I knew this title would be perfect for my layout and I was able to create a one of a kind background design using Distress Oxides, white paint, stencils and stamps..

I covered the title sentiment with gesso and then Distress Oxide in Peacock Feathers, softening the color with white paint.
I know I said this before, but absolutely love this photo.. We here in Finland just celebrated the summer solstice and usually spend the weekend at a summer cabin just taking easy..

I also used the large vine corner piece by placing it under my photo and then embellished it with flowers..
and there you have my layout for today's daily reveal.. Thank you for stopping by today and checking out my project..
Till next time

Daddys Girl-CE daily

Hi fellow crafters..
I'm here today to share a layout I created as my design team project for Creative Embellishments, using the background flourish stencil and some of my favorite chipboard elements..
Here is what I created:
this layout is set on a 12x12 canvas for my daughter, so she can hang it on her wall if she wanted to. The photo is of my grand daughter being carried by her dad.. One of those perfect moment photos :)

How about a few close ups of the details:
I absolutely love love love these new leaves, I painted them like a light green color to match my color scheme..

I also adore the corner flourish pieces.. I glued two of them together and tucked it under the corner flap that I had folded down, adding some flowers, leaves and a chipboard bow, which I cut into two pieces and tucking it behind my flowers..   I added some purple NUVO drops to my large butterfly cause she needed a little sparkle..

For the title sentiment, I kept it raw chipboard..
This layout was a lot of fun to create and I can't wait to get started on my next project.. Thank you for taking the time and checking out my design team project for todays reveal..

Till next time.

Flourish layout

Hi fellow scrappers..
I'm here to share a layout I created for todays design team reveal over at Creative Embellishments.. I used some of my favorite papers and flowers on this layout, along with lots of amazing chipboard elements you can find the CE store..  My grand daughter and I spent some time watering her flower bed she has around her play house..

Here is what I created:
I started with my base paper by 49 and Market, then added lots of Prima marketing Lavender papers. I did play with the background textures a bit, adding textured paste and stamping.

I used some of my favorite flourish pieces on this layout and adding some pieces from the Mini Circle lattice panel. I painted all of my chipboard elements using Distress Oxide ink pads.. using white gesso as a base though.

I tucked some of the large gears behind my paper cluster, adding lots of layers to my layout.. the butterflies I fussy cut from the Lavender paper set and adding white NUVO drops here and there..

and a quick tip.. If you cut your gears in half (cause you're tucking them behind paper) you can get more for your money :)

and that's my layout for todays reveal..
Thank you for stopping by and taking a look at what I've created ..
Till next time
