Greeting cards-CE reveal

Hi fellow crafters..
I'm here sharing a few greeting cards I created as my design team project for Creative Embellishments, using the Bee chipboard elements and some Rineá foil papers..

Here is what I created:

I just love these cute little bees and they make such good accents on your cards.. I used metal dies and foil paper to create the leaves I used on my card..
The papers I used for my cards are by Echo Park and the foil papers I used for the leaves are by Rinéa.  I decided to not alter the bees in anyway, cause I like that rustic look they gave my card..
For this card, I used the bigger bees.. tucked those cuties behind my leaves, giving them just a little sneak peek... Once again, I used the dies and Rinéa foil papers to create my leaves.
and there you have my cards for todays reveal.. Thank you for stopping by and till next time.
Hugs

Under the Sea shaker cards

Hello fellow crafters..
I have fallen in love with all things shaker..LOL   I've been a aw with some of the amazing shaker cards my fellow design team members over at Creative Embellishments have created and decided I had to get my foot into the door and just for it.. So, here are my two shake cards that I created:
I used distress oxides to ink up the background of my card fronts, then added lots of goodies.. chipboard pieces, flower and greenery..

I absolutely love the mermaid tail shaker set, I used the purple Renéa foils from the Variety Pastels pack for the background of the tail and then painting the tail purple.  I used several round dies to cut holes into the card. backed the front of my card with clear acetate and then lined the back of the inside of the card with a silver paper from Rinéas Metallics variety pack..   I also wanted to add bubbles to the background, so the new bubble stencil and some white paint was the perfect touch..

and this card was my favorite.. I had a ships window frame set and I had used the bigger frame on another project and I had the smaller frame left over... I decided to use one of my circle dies to cut out a window on the face of my card and then used the smaller ships window frames to frame the cut out, I used Rinéa's silver foil to cover my chippy and then added some mat silver brads.. attached it to my card face with foam tape, then added the mini leaves, some flowers and my sentiment.. I added some white Nuvo drops for little touches of detail..

and there you have my two shaker cards for today's reveal.. I want to thank you for stopping by and checking out my cards.. Till next time.

Splish Splash

Hi fellow scrappers..
I'm here sharing a really fun layout I created as my design team project for Creative Embellishments, using photos from last summer of our grand daughter spending some quality time with her grandpa..  We got her some mermaid themed water toys and floaties, so the colors I used are the same as her toys, plus her grandpa taught her to say Splish Splash for when she wanted to go swimming..
and because we are collaborating with Rinéa Foils this month, I was able to add lots of shimmer to my layout..

Here is what I created:
I did some easy fussy cutting for this layout.. Using the Rinéa foils, cutting the waves by using a die and then the seaweed is scissors and just cutting strips and glueing them to my layout.. I added some mini art stones to cover up the bottoms of the foil..

I backed up the jewel pieces with the foil.. I liked the little star effect so used those foils..

I used Hampton Art ink pads and a finger sponge to color my chipboard and I did that before I added the foil, which I just used glue to apply the foil to the backs of the chippies.

The background paper is by Bo Bunny, its just the 6x6 stack which I used two pieces and attached them to a piece of 12x12 cardstock.. glued the fish down and added white Nuvo drops for resemble bubbles..   And love the little mermaids.. painted their tails using the Hampton Art ink pads as well and the hair is Distress Oxides.. super easy to use..

and there you have my layout for today's collaboration reveal..
I love the shimmer effect the foils give my under the sea themed layout..
Thank you for stopping by and checking out layout and till next time..
