A-maze-ing Birthday shaped card-PPPR reveal

Happy Tuesday fellow scrappers and card makers..
I have a shaped card to share with you today that I created as my design team project for Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons.
I've been so busy working on fall and Halloween themed projects, so I really needed a little break from all of that and so created this fun Birthday shaped card using the Movie Popcorn cutting file..
Here is what I created:

I took the bottom layer of the cutting file, copy and pasted, then flipped it horizontally, welding the two of them together to create the flip of the card and creating the shape..
afterwards, I just cut everything as is, chalked the edges of the die cuts and glued them in place.. adding a little doodle detail with a white gel pen :)

How about a few close ups:

here is the top of the card, with all of the yummy popped kernels :)

a fun title I created using some free fonts I have on my computer and
then movie strips are a cutting file from the SIL store.

and finally my favorite part, the little dab of butter..
This cute little dab of butter is on the Bread and Butter cutting file.
I like my popcorn buttered, how about you?..LOL

and there ya have my cute little shaped card..
so simple to create, hope you give it a try..
till next time

It's another Tuesday Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbon reveal for this gal..LOL
I've been "scrappin up some fun!" with the super cute "Ice Cream Treats!" cutting file ..
I ran across the cutest photo of my kids when they were super young eating ice cream at the dinner table and when I seen these cutting files in the Pretty Paper , Pretty Ribbon I knew I had to find that photo and scrap it... Now, do you see a photo on  my layout?  No of course not.. After going through all of my boxes of photos, I could not find that 1 photo I wanted.. Urgh.. Talk about disappointing.. But, I am so glad I have this layout all done cause I know I'll run into that photo one day when I'm looking for another one and I'll snatch it up and finally put it where it belongs :)

So, here is that layout:
The colors are a bit off.. I had to take this photo inside due to rainy autumn days and the the lights inside didn't wanna play nice :(
but you can see all of the fun details I added..

Home Sweet Home Layout-PPPR reveal

I'm here to share a layout with you that I've been working on as my Design Team project for Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons..
Who loves that cute Gnomie's cutting file of Lisa's?  I do, I do.. This has to be one of the cutest files ever and I was so excited to put some of those adorable images to use..

so, with that said here is the scrapbook layout I created:

I decided to scrap a photo of my kids when they were younger and found one of many photos that they helped me in the kitchen baking something.. Those are the photos that remind of me of home.. My kids are all in their 20's now, so these are some precious memories for sure..

How about a few close ups:

I decided to have the froggy sitting on top of the Gnome home, so sized him a little bigger and for details, I chalked all of the edges and added some baby pink Stickles here and there..
Both of these can be found in the Gnomie's Cutting file

I wanted to add a branch to hold the next of eggs and the perfect one is definitely on the Winter Cardinal cutting file.. just made two different tone pink berries and light green leaves..
chalked all of those little berries and added some pink stickles as well.. a lot of work, but so worth it at the end..

and finally the Home sign. I love adding little single elements to my pages and the bird sitting on sign with the lantern on the side was just the perfect touch.. I love lanterns and have all over my house, inside and out :)  So, that is so me right there..
all of those can be found in the Gnomie's Cutting file

Thank you for stopping by today and checking out what I've created for todays reveal..
Till next time..
Get scrappy Ya'll..

used foam tape in between the layers of the flowers and then dabbed some baby blue
and green stickles on it..

Here you can see the stickles on the leaves..

and my cute butterfly all stickled up..

Lifes' A circus card - PPPR reveal

I'm here today to share a whimsical card that I created as my DT for Pretty paper, Pretty Ribbon using some of my favorite Graphic45 papers (Le Cirque collection) and the elephant from the Birthday Critters cutting file.
I wanted to look like the elephant was holding a magic feather :)  Us Disney movie fans know where that idea came from..LOL
I also created rosette from the scalloped edge cutting file.. It was super easy by adding folding lines and smooshing it all together.. punched a 1" circle for the bottom and added a shiny brad to the center, tucking the feathers up top..

Here is what I created:
because I added an "off the page" element (feather), it was a bit a difficult to photograph :)

side view.. lost of layers using foam dots..

how about some close ups and details:

I folded a long piece of paper and then added the sentiment on top of that..
for the banners I used the Sentiment spots cutting file..

This has to be the cutest elephant ever :)
He can be found in the Birthday Critters cutting file

The scalloped border that I used to create rosette is in the
Borders2 cutting file.. I cut two of them at 6" long, adhered them together at
both ends and then pushed the center down onto a 1" circle cut..
Super fun and easy :)

and there ya have my fun Circus themed card..
decided this would make a great birthday card :)
so, till next time...
