For todays hop, all of us design team members are creating Trick or Treat themed projects using some of the adorable cutting files from the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbon online store..
Now for my project:
I decided my house needed a little Halloween decorations and created a little something for my front door.. Here in Finland we actually have two doors, the outside door and then an inside door, this helps keep the cold and the noise out :) I attached my door decor on the inside door that we always keep open and if we accidentally close it, our dog is nice enough to open it for us :)
Here is what I created:
Lots of files used to create my little Halloween scene :)
I actually had to close the door and then open the front door, stand outside in the cold to get some good light to snap this photo :)
How about lots of close ups and details:
Here you can see it really is attached to my door. I used
lots of foam tape to add dimension and it will peel off easy..
I used the bottles from the Potion Bottles cutting file.. to create the Welcome sign..
The stacks of hay in the back ground are in the Fall Festival cutting file.
My skeleton guy.. is he great or what?..LOL
The hat is the tall top hat from Old Chap Cutting file
and all of those gears are from the Robot cutting file..
I decided to decorate his eyes by adding the swirls from the Best Buddies cutting file.. that is a print and cut, meaning I printed the black background with the white swirls, then cut around edge.. The ax is from the First Thanksgiving cutting file
I found this adorable font online some time ago and its called Mr.Giggles. I also decided to decorate it by adding some flying bats which are in the Haunted Scenery cutting file
I had loads of fun creating these pumpkins.. They are pretty big, but I have to admit, I like my pumpkins big :) Those are in the Pumpkin Patch cutting file..
My skeleton guy measures really big, so I had to use my knife tool in the SIL software to first cut him into pieces and then once he was all cut with my Cameo, I put him back together again using little strips of tape that are in the back of him so you can't see :) He can be found in the Skeleton Couple cutting file.. That cute little spider and all of the spider webs can be found in the Halloween Critters cutting file.
and I did grab that little hanging spider from the Potion Bottle cutting file and hung him from one the spider webs I added :) bottom corner..
