Toilet paper roll album

I have wanted to make one of these since I can remember.. Making this little TP Roll album was so much fun, quick and Easy.. Only time consuming part of the whole project was trying to get the rolls..LOL
This was a nice morning project..
Here are the tags that are inserted in every pouch..they are photos of my DD when she was first learning how to jump in the deep end of our pool. She was about 4 yrs old in these photos.
the tags are cut at 3"wide and 4" long (I think and the tp rolls in Finland might be smaller than the ones in the states)
Here are some close ups of the inside of the album. I think the cuts on the Lifes a beach cartridge are too too cute.. all the of the titles are stretched on the design studio 2.5" x 2.5"..
another close up. I inked all of the edges with black ink.. I think it gave it a nice look.
and another..
This is the last pouch.. I used a lot of stickle and then added some mini googly eyes..

* toilet paper roll, squish it flat and cover with your choice of paper.
squeeze shut at one end and punch holes and add eyelets to keep it shut.
Cut tags, add photos and embellish any way you want to. add binder rings, fiber and ribbon.

Beautiful Trouble Maker

I totally fell in love with this paper when I seen it and it had my DD's name written all over it..fits her personality so perfectly.. I didn't want to over power this layout with embellishments cause of all the little detail that the paper itself has and of course, not taking the view from the photos them selves.
Here is a close up the two photos I have on the top part of the layout..she took these her self being bored at my husbands uncles house while on vacation last summer. The text running on the top of the paper is just too too perfect...LOL
I took this photo of her sun bathing..LOL in black... I love the little sticker that came with the paper stack I bought.
the title I cut using my new Tink and Friends Cartridge. I did have to shrink a little bit to fit.
Aaaaaaw..the face only a mother would love.. I love that little female skull with the pink hair.. lovely...LOL
Some of the flowers I added to go with the flourish and charms. I wanted to keep this black, white and pink...nothing else..
I apologise for the photos of the layout being poor quality, but the lighting in my scraproom is really poor today..
I have to give so much thanks to my best friend "KAT" in Florida for sending me these papers..

UPDATE: I have had a lot of people ask where I got these papers and they were ordered online from Target
Supplies Used:
  • Cricut cart: Graphically Speaking: butterflies (shadow cut) and flourish
  • Cricut cart: Tink and Friends: word "Beautiful!"

  • Flower charms: The Paper Company
  • Stickle: Silver, black and Magenta
  • Pop dots
  • Cricut design studio: Shrinking

Birthday at Happy Joe's.

My son Aaron turned 15yrs old last summer (2008) and we were lucky enough to be on vacation in Dubuque Iowa. We all got together at Happy Joe's Pizzeria to celebrate his birthday and when we were all done with our pizza the weitress came over with a big horn and yelled out really loud "We have a birthday boy over here!"..LOL
There are 15 balloons for his 15th birthday..
The expression on his face is priceless.. as the waitress was singing to him he kept saying "Oh my god!" "Oh my god!"..repeatedly.. It was the funniest thing..
I attempted to make the sunday from the "A Child Year" cartridge, I think it came out ok..Lots of stickle and added some white liquid pearl.. the more I look at it, it looks like I made it backwards.. LOL
This is just the close up of the title.. I did't want to use any more red, yellow or blue.. I thought they started over domineering the layout, so I chose Green.. Im not sure how I feel about it yet..LOL
This is the cutest little birthday hat.. cut from the child year cartridge as well..

supplies used:
  • Cricut cart: A Childs Year: Balloons, Sundae, Title, "Happy Birthday", Hat
  • Cricut cart: Graphically speaking: thinking bubble, pointing fingers (LOL) and circle arrow.
  • Papers: K & Co Kazoo kids
  • cardstock: brown, yellow, red, blue, white and green
  • stickle: X-mas red, cinnamon, yellow, frosted lace, Holly and waterfall
  • white gel pen
  • pop dots

Apple Of My Eye

My oldest son Aaron..Guess how old he is in this photo?..LOL I really loved making this layout and it took me one whole day. I did a LOT of inking and chalking, but I love the effect if gave the letters and cuts..
I wanted to add apple blossoms to the layout to go with the apples (I know they look like peaches).. I really didn't mind adding a little bit of pink, I think its a nice a contrast color to all the yellow and green.
Here is a close up of the title.. I weaved it through a flouris and added some leaves, which I inked and chalked.
I didn't want to do your regular number 5 on this layout, so I went through the little ACY booklet and seen the hand.. I thought how appropriate for this layout, being he's 5yrs old..
This is just a close up of the apple with the boy cut out.. I cut it using light yellow cards stock which I then inked the edges with orange and rubbed the apple with red and the leaves with green. I also added a little detail with a white gel pen.

Supplies Used:
  • Cricut cart: A Childs Year: Font, apple cut boy cutout, hand and all small apples
  • Cricut cart: Storybook: leaves and little blossoms
  • Cricut cart: Home Accents: flourish
  • Cricut cart: Hello Kitty font: flowers
  • papers: K& Co Classi Margo 12x12
  • cardstock: pastel green, yellow, white, pink and blue
  • Markers: colored in the blossoms-pink and dotted the flowers with yellow and brown
  • Tim Holtz distress ink: *Shabby shutters and Walnut stain
  • Colorbox inks: orange
  • Stamping: flourish behind big apple
  • white gel pen: added detail
  • green ribbon'
  • pop dots
  • Cricut design studio: welding of letters
Thankyou all for looking.
