You are the cream to my coffee card-SOUS DC reveal

TGIF!! Its been an amazing week this week, been on vacation from my everyday job only to help out my hubby at his garage.. Greeting customers and answering the phones.. I don't know much about cars, but I guess I look like I do :)
I did have some free time to get a little crafting done and decided to create a fun card for our Die Cut challenge over at SOUS.. For today's challenge, we were asked to use any die cut that was either "Food or Beverage!".. Since I love coffee, I decided to put my Cricut good use and blew the dust off of my " Love you a latte!" cartridge :)

Here is what I created:
The coffee cup, heart and scalloped background were all from the "Love you a latte!" cartridge..
The title and punched trim, I created with my Cameo..

a few close ups:

Lots of layers on this card thats for sure :)

supplies used:

Cricut Imagine electronic die cutter
"Love you a latte" cartridge:
coffee
scalloped square
heart

Silhouette Cameo
Sil software:
title font and border

canon printer
free fonts
white cardstock
Digital papers
white marker
black marker
foam tape
distress inks: Brushed Corduroy and Broken China

and there ya have my coffee themed card.. I really enjoyed getting some of my old cartridges out to play with, its been a while..
Do stop by SOUS and check out what amazing projects the rest of our design team has created for todays reveal..
Till next time, hope you have a scrap-tastic weekend

Wedding bouquet-Onnea Hääparille

I wanted to surprise my co worker with this "CARD"...LOL
yeah.. it will be the wedding card.. I know that just plain jane flat cards get put away in a box or thrown away.. this one can be displayed for a long time.. once the couple get sick of looking at it, they can pull the flowers out and re-use the flower pot.. its ceramic and an actual flower pot.

Here is a close up pic of the flowers.. I cut them using my cricut..

I added some ivy to the bottom for ruffage along with some pink rotting fiber(says on bag)..
it looks a lot better in person, than in the pictures..
  • cricut cart: Graphically Speaking- flowers cut at 2.5", 2" and 1.5"
  • cricut cart: Opposites Attract- lettered circles
  • cricut cart: Paper doll dress up- heart, gift boxes and wedding cake.
  • pink paper
  • wooden sticks covered in green floral tape
  • dry flower sponge
  • rotting fiber-pink
  • paper ivy garland
  • pink ribbon
  • stickle- lime green (for the ivy) and pink for the heart, gift boxes and wedding cake.

Happy Easter to everyone..

this ís the card that I made for challenge #51

its not my best work, but I'm happy :D
*Hyvää Pääsiäistä kaikille*
Tässä korttini haasteeseen..
Halusin tehdä pääsiäiskortin ja tässä se sitten on.
Kiitos kun katsoitte! :D

kortti Haaste #50/challenge #50

Card challenge #50.
I made this card with my best friend in mind. We both love primitive country crafts and so, I used that as my inspiration for the card. I used K&co classic k Margo paper stack , which I love the patterns and the colors. a lot of chalking and inking was involved in the making of this card, but looking at the end results, it was well worth the effort.
I measured the card at 8"x6" and cut 8 3"x2" pieces of cardstock. I inked and chalked all the pieces and then placed them on top of the card. I cut 3", 2.5" and 1" hearts in 4 different colors, inked and chalked them and then layered them. Adding the stitching with a black marking pen. i cut branches at 2" and 3", inking and chalking them and then adding liquid pearl drops.
I also inked and chalked the letters, adding a little dimension. hearts are all stuck with 3d tape squares. I also cut .5" border around the edge of the card attaching the corners with button brads, which I thought was a cute finish to the card.
Kortti Haaste #50
Tein tämän kortin parhaalle kaverilleni. Me molemmat rakastetaan amerikallaista primitive stailia.

B-day card-Male

I made this card today for my cousins husband who will be turning 40 in a few weeks.
He loves fishing, and so thats why I thought of the fisherman relaxing. Every thing on this card is cut by hand except for the sun and blurbs. I love the little worm hanging free on the hook, I think thats a cute little accent to this card. Now, I just hope he likes it..
I have put all of this card together with 3d tape squares to give it more demension.

Hei..
Toi pieni mato on paras..
Update: I gave the card yesterday and he loved it.. didn't believe me when I said I had hand cut everything..

Birthday card 3d-purse

I had a BLAST making this 3d purse card.. I made my own purse pattern and then cut it from black heavy cardstock, cut the pictures from BoBunny papers and used stickle for all the BLING! The top of the card opens up so it can be used as a gift box as well.
"Onnea" means congrats.. :D
hei!
Tässä on kartongista tehty käsilaukku kortti työkaverilleni. Hän rakasti sitä.. helppo ja nopea tehdä. varmasti löytyy netistä ohjeita.
