Autumn Fun-sketch revel SOUS

It's another sketch reveal for us girls over at S.O.U.S and I created a colorful Autumn themed layout using a few photos I took one day as I was out walking my pups.. But I did realize that since they are always walking in front of me, my photos are always of their back sides..LOL

Here's what I created:

The photo isn't the best quality but it started snowing here and can't take photos outside  till next summer.. :(

How about some close ups and details:

for the title, I pop dotted the shadow and then glued the letters to that, adding a little drop detail with a fine tip black marker..

My basket of goodies.. Some of my autumn favorites with apples and leaves..

I also added a few apple cores to my layout.. think they look pretty cute :)

My colorful owl.. He turned out pretty..

and my furry pup butts..LOL and in a scalloped circle :)

and there ya have my layout for todays sketch reveal..
Do stop by SOUS and check out what amazing layouts our design team has created for todays reveal..
Till next time..

For today's blog hop us Design Team members found inspiration from this sketch which was created by our Leah..

This is what I created:

My mom and I went picking sunflowers last Saturday and I snapped a few photos of her and she was trying to jump out of the view of the camera..LOL  I finally told her to stay still and she got all goofy on me.. So, the photo is of my mom standing in front of the field of sunflowers..

I created my own sunflowers using one of the files I found in the SIL sotre.. I wanted a furry look to the centers and so added some glossy accents and some antique copper micro beads..
and let me just say, those little things went everywhere.. no clean way to handle those at all :)

I also added some butterflies and small flowers I punched out with my Fiskars punch.. lots of pink stickles on the wings of the butterflies..

I also decided to grab some pearls from my stash, that I've been hoarding onto and I also got to use one of my Martha Stewart deep edge punches :)

close up of the stickles on the butterfly, plus I rubbed some texture paste to the edge of the layout, just to soften it up a it..  All of the flowers and leaves have been inked with distress inks.

Now, I have some fun challenge information:

If you JOIN in ANY of our challenges this month
you will then be eligible for one of our 2 Grand Prizes! The more challenges
and projects you share, the more chance to win!

So Thankful 4 U- SOUS sketch reveal

Welcome to another sketch reveal for us ladies over at SOUS..
Today's sketch was created by our very own Leah and it was amazing to work with.. I decided to grab some of my Bo Bunny papers, Et Cetera line and scrapped one of my hubby's photos that my mother-in-law gave me from when he was a young guy :)  Our son Aaron looks exactly like his dad and so I love looking at my hubby's photos from when he was younger..
So, here is what I created:
Made some of my own flowers using some Perfect Pearls mist: gold on the brown flowers and some Mint on the blue flowers..
how about some close ups:

Love the way these flowers came out using the perfect pearls mists on them.. Look metallic almost :)
I also inked the flourish to give it a bit of age..

close up of the top of the layout.. Lots of layers

here's my cluster of goodies around the title..

upper cluster.. I wished the heart was a different color blue..
