Little Girls- DT project for Whimsical Wednesdays

I'm so happy its finally Wednesday and I get to share a layout with you that I created over the weekend and have been dying to share..LOL
So, us girls over at Whimsical Wednesdays were challenged this week with a "Bring out the Old!" challenge..
meaning we were to use something that you have not used in a long time, or might not have used at all since you purchased it. This can include anything used for crafting whether it is a tool, cartridge, paper, embellishment or technique..

So, I thought about it for a day or two and then rummaged through my Cricut Cartridges.. I finally found one that I had not used in years or at least what seemed like years.. and its my "Sesame Street and Friends" cartridge.. Its one of those cute cartridges you figure you'd get a lot of project made with, but then you realize you have no real use for it..LOL  but, it is cute !!
and I also used a technique that I haven't done in a while, which is chalking all of my die cuts.. once again, it was a lot of work, but I love the way it gives extra dimension to your cuts..
plus, I foam dotted everything (big surprise there)..LOL

So, Here is my project for Whimsical Wednesdays Challenge:
Aaaaw.. aren't they cute?...LOL
and a lot of work to piece together, let me tell you...

This is another layout I designed using the Cricut Craftroom ..
I absolutely loved seeing the whole layout come to life right before my eyes and this was before I did any cutting.. makes it so easy to pick just the right colors and prints.. Two thumbs up for CCR..

how about a few close ups:

isn't that a cute sentiment and I actually designed this layout with the sentiment in mind..
Its from Whimsical Designs "Whimsical Fun!" collection..

so, for the stamps I used:

all I can say, I love these stamps.. seriously!!
and you all know, I'm not much of a stamper, but these really make it super easy and fun..

as for the supplies used for this layout:

Cricut Craftroom
Cricut Imagine

Cricut Imagine cartridge:
 Lori's Garden

Regular Cricut cartridges:

Sesame Street & Friends:
Dancing girls and sun

Pooh & Friends
Trees, clouds, rain drops and grass

Walking In My Garden:
Flowers, sign and "smile"

My Community:
Fence and road

White Cardstock
Chalks
Distress ink
White Liquid pearl
foam dots

well ladies.. That's another Wednesday post for me.. I hope you find time to stop by Whimsical Wednesdays and check out what the other Design Team members have created and do join in the challenge this week..
Thank you all so much stopping by today and I hope everyone has a scrap-tastic week..
hugs
