Let's Get Sketchy- DT for Whimsical Wednesdays

Wow, is it Wednesday already?.. this year has certainly started to speed by ...LOL
well ladies.. with it being Wednesday, I get to share a Whimsical Wednesdays project with you all.. You know, I have started creating cards and I am in absolute Aaaaaw.. I've had so much fun...
and when Stephanie from WW had asked me if I did card sketches , I told her I had never done one before, but I'd love to give it a go and so, here is my very first card sketch:

and here is my take on the sketch I created for us girls over at Whimsical Wednesdays:

I absolute love how this card came out.. I used K&Co papers and actually these papers were something that I had mail ordered and wasn't too happy with then once I got them, but they are awesome on this card..LOL  you just never know right?

for a few close ups:

I actually pop dotted everything except for the hearts in the pocket and I grabbed my cuttlebug and did some embossing on this card, which is a first..LOL

I used one of the sentiments from the "With Love" collection:
"Today, Tomorrow and always!"  you can check that out by clicking HERE

We also have sponsor for our challenge this week.. Its Stamp Fairy and she is sponsoring
with a $10 gift certificate to her store..

  4. This card is gorgeous! I love how you created a pocket and placed the hearts in it. The embossing is so pretty, and those papers..wow. You never know, you may love the paper and then it looks not so good on a project, and then in your case not so crazy about it and then it winds up awesome! Thank you so much for the sketch, I had so much fun with it, and want to do more. Great job this week, and I can see why you love this card.
