Dog Gone Summer- Guest DT spot



I have met a wonderful gal named Sabrina from Cuttlebug blog which is a challenge blog for cuttlebug beginners.  She had sent me email about a month ago asking I would be a guest designer on her cuttlebug blog.. Only problem, I don't own a cuttlebug, but with a generous heart, Sabrina actually sent me my very own cuttlebug as a gift..
"WOW!!" is all I could say really.. 

So, I got my cuttlebug in the mail about a week ago and I was so very excited to open the box and explore all of the wonderful things this little green thing can do...LOL
and then it hit me like a brick wall " I have no idea what the hell I'm doing!"...  :O)
So, no need to panic,  I checked out some how to videos on youtube and I was like "OH yeah, I can do this!"..LOL
and well, this layout is my very first ever attempt at embossing..
Sabrina said that this months topic is Flower Power and she knows how much I love's them flowers, Perfect topic for me...LOL

  2. What a pretty house, all adorned with flowers and I love the embossed clouds! Wouldn't it be nice if clouds had such pretty designs! Such a fun layout and the title says it all!

  4. Look at you! You can use a Cuttlebug! I haven't had mine long, but I LOVE it! And I am sure you will too now that you figured out how to use it!! Love the embossing in the clouds... and love all your flowers! Great LO!

  8. What a cute layout, Nanne. Welcome to the world of embossing! I actually don't own a Cuttlebug either but I use the folders with my old Sissix machine and it works great for what little I do! Congrats on being GD!

  15. OMG Nanne! It would have never occurred to me you didn't have a Cuttlebug. Guess your beautiful layouts have so much detail I never missed the embossing. Oh boy, now you get to have even MORE fun! Love your little scene here. xxD
