My favorite day of the week again and that means its another Reveal at SOUS..
I thought this weeks sketch was a bit challenging, but I like how it ended up looking..
this is a photo of my dd when she was about 2 years old and it was taken at her daycare..
She loved that dress she wore, my god mother had sent it to me from Finland to Florida..
I adore this photo of her. I have kept it in a frame for the past 19 years and now I took it out to scrap it and to put it into her album..
Here is this weeks sketch and its by Liz Qualman. She makes some of the best sketches I have seen. I want to thank you her for her great work and allowing us to use them..
Here I have some close ups and all details to the making of this layout..
I actually decided to NOT use as many pop dots as I usually do..LOL :O) aaaaaaaaand to use at least one cartridge that I hadn't used in a very long time and that cartridge is "HELLO KITTY!"..
Here is a close ups of the title.. I used my SCAL software to cut the title font..
I have never used the parenthesis for the title, so that was another first for me.
My precious little dd at the tender age of 2.. She was such a little cutey.
.
a close up of Hello Kitty with the wings.. I really wanted to use a character to give this layout
a child friendly look..
The flowers I cut using the Plantin Schoolbook cart.. I didn't use pop dots to layer them this time, glued them to the layout and then folded them upwards.. added some raffia to the buttons..
and finally the little hello kitty on the top corner.
