I'm totally in the love with the Adventure Awaits stamp set and I've been dying to use the cute little pirate images and so sat down one day and created this card: 

I added lots of layers to my card using foam tape squares..

How about some close ups:

I thought of Peter Pan when I decided to put the ship up in the clouds :)

Pretty Paper, Pretty ribbons first Facebook hop..

Spring themed pocket letter

Any pocket letter fans out there? :)   

I have become such a big fan of pocket letters, they are so much fun to create.. I joined a Spring themed Silhouette Cameo swap and decided to some of my favorite colors and images on my pocket letter..

Here is what I created:

I used a lot of Lisa's cutting files on this pocket letter and everything I cut with my Silhouette Cameo.

The background print for the cards I printed a brick pattern onto the cards using an image from the Silhouette online store..

For the piping, I found an image online and was able to convert it into a cutting file using the Silhouette software, which is such a great feature to the software..

I added some clear plastic to the back of the windows with some ribbon as a curtain.  for the window box frame trellis thingy,  I  did some heat embossing on the bottom of it using Ranger's rust embossing powder..

All of these goodies are from the Silhouette Store and can be found under Lisa Norris as artist..

The Sweet Life-PPPR daily

Hi fellow paper crafters..
I'm here to share a fun summer themed layout I created as my design team project for Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons, using the Ice Cream Treats cutting file..

Here is the layout I created:

We went on a road trip a few summers ago and it was so hot, we decided to stop for some ice cream. I have my mom in the photo with me.. that cone was melting faster than I could eat it..LOL

how about a few close ups:

I absolutely adore the oopsy cone and wanted to add that onto my layout..

I used the label file to add flavor labels to my ice cream containers.. 

Some of my favorite flavors :)

My little cluster go goodies.. :)

Here my card:

My eldest son is officially moving out of our house and starting a new adventure

and I was thinking of him and his girlfriend, when I created this card..

I absolutely love the roses on the Flowers in Bloom stamps set.. they are so pretty..

I used several shades of  yellow to get the look and then added a final touch with the stardust glitter pen.

Tried to get a wooden style look to my bee house :)  added some glitter pen to my bee as well..

Layering is a favorite detail of mine and was able to add lots of layers using the Fancy frames dies and of course, I had to add some glitter to my sentiment :)
