Hi fellow Scrappers..
It's Nanné here sharing a 6x6 chipboard square mini album with you today. I absolutely love mini albums and creating them is so much fun, with little details here and there.. I filled my mini album with clean acetate pages and 6x6 panel pieces so I could get more places to add photos to..
Here is what I created:
I used the 6x6 chipboard square mini album , which is absolutely the best to create a fun filled mini album and then adding some of the panels to get even more cute pages in side..
The cover always seems to be the most challenging. I wanted to add some layers and thought the berry frame was a perfect touch for the base.. I also love the new pick up file, so that definitely had to be there and because my album will be filled with love, the hearts had to be there..
Now lets get to the inside of the album:
I created lots of pocket pages for this album, so I can add lots of photos inside of my grand daughter .. plus, I absolutely love tags and tabs, so those were included as well.. I used the wood veneer numbers to add dates on the tag and the tabs..
I also added some clear Acetate pages in my album, once again to add some extra pages for more photos.. Plus, the acetate are so thin that they really don't add much bulk.. To help recognize the acetate pages, I used washi tape for the edges .
On the left side is a pocket page that I trimmed down from a bigger page, then used my Bind it All to create the holes for the binding.. On the right side, I got a photo mat going, used one of the die cuts from the paper set add on and then used the words Naught and Nice from the Christmas Sentiments word set.
for this page, I also added acetate (a page and a half page) in the middle of the two chipboard pages.. I love the swirly filigree tree and wanted to add that to the half page, the photo of our tree will sit on the photo mat behind the tree..
For these pages, I created an envelope using my Envelope punch board, added a magnet and then some tags to tuck behind it for photo mats. In the middle of the pages, I added another clear acetate page, using papers, die cuts and the Christmas sentiment from the sentiment set.
When you flip the clear acetate page you get to the my panel page. I used the 6x6 Harlequin panel which I attached to a clear acetate sheet, then covered with papers and some of the die cuts, used a large wood veneer number 3 for the tab.. I love the way it added another fun page to my album.
Then flipping the page, you get to the other side of the Harlequin panel page.. used a circle punch to punch some circles from the papers, creating a small corner pocket, added the photo mats and then some die cuts. I also created some large tags which I tucked behind the corner pocket I created using the santa letter and envelope from the Santa letter set.
and yet another pocket page..LOL obsessed with tags much?, well yes, yes I am...LOL We'll skip the left page since its obvious but the right side.. Another clear acetate page and added a Christmas Bulb on both sides with a paper circle in between, so you can't see through it.. added the twine to look like is hanging in place.. the sentiment squares are corner tabs, so I can tuck photo mats behind it to hold it in place.. totally in love with this page set up..
flipping the acetate page, you get to my heart panel page.. I had to trim the side so I could get to match the binder rings, but yet again I got a fun page to add to my album.. Thought about adding a photo mat to the page, but with the acetate page next to it, it seemed too busy, so added a sentiment card instead, which came with the paper set..
and for my last page, I decided to try to keep it simple.. I had so many amazing bulky pages, so I had to try not to add more bulk ..LOL I decided to add a flip pocket, so I could get two photos onto this page, plus maybe a journaling spot when you flip the pocket up.. just some die cuts and then the frosty sentiment, but I used it as a frosting cookies.. LOL
and that is my Christmas themed mini album... Thank you for taking the time to check out my post and till next time..
Hugs
Nanné
