Christmas in July-Whimsical Designs reveal

I can't believe it's July already, time sure does fly when you're enjoying the heat :)  so with our summers being so nice and sunny, it was a bit difficult for me to get into the Christmas spirit and create my first Christmas card for this year and I created one cause were having a "CHRISTMAS IN JULY!" challenge over at Whimsical Designs..

I used Echo Park papers and then some die cuts from the Cricut library and so, this is what I ended up with:

The card base, I used my Silhouette software and welded some snow flakes to a rectangle.
layered some Echo Park papers and finally added my die cuts with foam tape, last but not least adding some drops of white liquid pearl and the sentiment by Whimsical Designs..

Here you can see the snow flake trim around the card..

the horse and passengers, plus a snow flake..

plus a close up of the sentiment, which is attached with foam tape.

We have a great sponsor for this weeks challenge and that is:
a Christmas Package worth $25

for a list of supplies used:

Silhouette cameo
Cricut Imagine

Silhouette software:
Design of card, welding snow flakes and title banner
Cricut Craft Room software:
Various cricut Cartridges for die cuts: can't remember which ones, sorry!!

White cardstock
Digital Papers by: Echo park
white liquid pearl
inks for shading
black marker for faux stitching
and my favorite bit:
Snow Much Fun sentiment stamp set by Whimsical Designs

  1. Beautiful card, but I agree, with this warm weather we're having I can't even think about Christmas and winter right now. I'll pretend it's a snowcone! LOL.
