Favorite Color challenge-Whimsical Designs reveal

Happy Humpty hump day fellow crafters.. After enjoying 4 weeks of summer vacay, I had to go back to work the day before yesterday.. *sigh!!!  but while I was enjoying my time off, I was able to concentrate on some real fun projects..
For todays challenge we were asked what our favorite color combination was and I answered with "light blue,  brown and cream!" YUM!  Our sponsor (The Paper Parade) for this challenge sponsored each of the design team members with a product package that met our color combo needs.. I was beyond lucky and got to work with one of my favorite paper manufactures: AUTHENTIQUE.  The papers I used for my project is the HOPE collection by Authentique..

so, lets get to my project shall we:
I decided to create a 5x7 shawdow box and I got the file from the SIL store..This is one of my all time favorite photos of my boys when they were little.. It puts a big smile on face every time I look at it.. I scanned the original photo and then printed it in Sepia to match the colors..

sorry this photo isn't all that great, but just want to show what the file looks like in the store and the price is awesome.. You can do anything you want with this file, fun colors and prints..  Plus its pretty light weight so you can stick to wall with ease if you wish..

side view.. you can see how deep the box is, but its awesome to have all that room to add lots of goodies off of the page..
the little wooden dowels I used for legs I got as a gift from Stephanie from Whimsical Designs..
I added the papers to background and around the edge, plus I also got some ribbon trim by Fancy Pants design to match my color palette so added some of that around the edge along with some twine..

How about some close ups:

the bottom left corner.. lots of fun elements and decided to use one of the sentiments onto the puzzle piece..
I also used the sticker words around the bottom.  I know its a bit difficult to read them with the quality of the photo, but they say "Cute", "Surprise", "Memories" and "Friends"..

The whole cluster..  Now I know why they call it a shadow box, there is a constant shadow on the top part of the box..LOL  I could not get any photos without it..  :)

The bottom right corner.. The little word sticker says "Remember".  I also added some "say it with pearls" and a few more flowers and a puzzle piece..

I used some of the alphabet stickers on top of the photo, spelling out "brothers"..

The top of the box looked like it could use a little something, so I added some floating puzzle pieces and lots of flowers and leaves..  The floating look I created with adding some little flaps to the back of the puzzle pieces and gluing them down to the box..

so once again, I want to give a big thank you to our awesome sponsor for this weeks challenge without their generosity, I would not have been able to create this shadow box with these amazing papers and the fun ribbon trim..
