Another Friday reveal for you lovely ladies today.. wooo hooo..LOL..
Us girls over at SOUS had a wonderful sketch by Becky Fleck this week.. We though that it would be a great way to be able to let your creative juices flow.. I found some great photos of my oldest son Aaron playing with his daddy when he was just a tiny baby.. They used to do their nightly tickel routine and then off to bed it went.. I miss those days.. He's 17 now and its not like I can just walk up to him and blow on his tummy...LOL
so, here is the little layout I created this week.. I love Elmo.. I actually bought the boys a tickel me elmo, still have stashed away.. I just dont' have any photos of them playing with it..
I think the little elmos came out super cute.. :O)
Here are a few close ups..
I'm not really good at journaling and for some reason my printer wouldn't work, so I had to hand journal..
and for supplies used:
Papers by : my minds eye: Complete boy
cardstock: orange, cream, red, yellow and black
cricut cartridges:
Sesame Street Friends:
Elmo
George and Basic Shapes:
little sqaures for title base and circle
Plantin schoolbook:
Title font and rick-a-rack
edge distress tool
black pen for faux stitching and journaling
Tim Holtz distress ink: walnut stain
Tim Holtz stamps
well, another layout all finished..LOL
Thank you ladies so much for stopping and taking a look.. I hope you get time to stop by SOUS this week to see what our extremely talented design team has created using the same sketch and I also it inspires you to join in on the fun with us this week..
Hugs
Nanné

Love your little elmo's and the edge distressing. I haven't been able to find one of those little distressing tools so I have to use the edge of scissors.
ReplyDeleteLove the little squares and the faux hand-stitching! Great Job--and I couldn't even tell that the writing was not a computer job! Nice!
