Two weeks surely goes by fast when your having fun..LOL
SOUS is having its bi-weekly reveal again today and here is my take on this weeks sketch.
I wasn't sure at first where I was going with it, but it turned out pretty sweet at the end..
The photo is of my aunt (dad's sister) and my grandmother (mom's mom). It was taken the summer I moved here with my family, back in 1996.. We were enjoying a nice warm summers day outside having a cup of coffee..
My aunt and my grandmother have always been good friends..
Here is the sketch that we have for you that Leah chose for this week and its by a very talented lady Liz Qualman:
Here are some close ups of the layout
Made some roses again by hand.. They are getting easier and easier to make..LOL
I also added glossy accent to the butterflies, bees and dragonfly.
and for supplies used:
Cricut cartridges:
George and Basic shapes: flowers for roses and all circles
Songbird: Title: Friendship
Cindy Loo: Flourish and title: Everlasting
A Childs Year: Leaves
Design Studio software for the design
Papers by K&Co
Butterflies, bees and dragonfly are cut outs from the paper line.
Cardstock: green, tan, black and red
Glossy accents
