King of his Castle- SOUS

I'm so glad its Friday and that means its another REVEAL at Stuck On U Sketches..
I adore this weeks sketch and couldn't wait to sink my teeth into it..  :O)
This is my DD's doggy "Tudor"..He was about 8 months old in this photo that I took at Christmas last year.. We have our kitchen gated off from the pets so he jumped up against it hoping for a little Christmas dinner..LOL
He is such a cutey and is a very sweet, lovable pooch!!  when he's not destroying anything...LOL

Here is the sketch that I used to create this layout:

As you all know, I am not much for journaling, so I added another photo instead..
Only cause I really couldn't choose between the two, they were both so cute..

Oh! and we were supposed to use BLING for this challenge..
I added some gems onto the title and on the crown..
OH!!!!
and I do have to give a big shout out to Generations Crafting who is one of our sponsors at SOUS, the girls (Sandy W, Leah, Sandi C and I) are all on her new DESIGN TEAM..
The girls and I are so excited!!!
I hope you ladies get a minute or two to check us out there as well.. *I can't wait to get started

Here I have some close ups:

I love the little dog on the Doodlecharms cartridge..
It was so perfect for this layout

A close up of the title.. Which fits him like a glove.

close up of the bottom photo and the title

The dog house with the little gray cat hiding behind it..
My dd has two gray cats as well,
so thats why I added them onto the layout..
They normally don't hide from the dog, they all get along great.

"Cats rule, Dogs drool!"..LOL

And the for the supplies used:
Cricut Cartridges:

Doodlcharms: Dog, Cats, Dog house

George and Basic Shapes: Stars and ovals for paws

Paper Doll Dress Up: bones and bowl

Mickey and Friends: fire hydrant

Storybook: greenery and title (KING and CASTLE)

Plantin Schoolbook: Title ( of his)

I used my Design Studio software to create and design this layout, so I don't have actual cutting sizes. sorry!!

papers: HOTP
Cardstock: deep yellow, light blue, white, black, brown, red, cream and gray
Tim Holtz distress ink:  Scattered Straw (stars, dog house and bones)
Versa Color inks: green (greenery)

Chalks:

orange (dog house and bones),
tan (bones)
 grey (cats)
black and red (bowl and top of dog house)

SatzOn ink pad:  all black trim
white gel pen for hand doodling
zig two pay glue pen
pop dots
black gem/jewel drops
gold gem/jewel drops

gold embossing powder (crown)
Tim Holtz embossing pad

I think that about does it.. this was a pretty quick layout to make..
Thank you all so much for looking and I hope you get a minute to check out SOUS and see what the other design team has created using this same sketch.
Hugs

  10. This lo will definately be scraplifted. This turned out great and love how you used 2 pics instead of the journaling. I am not good at the journaling part either.
Love it all. The title fits so many of our furburies.

  11. LOVE it! I think you are such a stud at adding to the Cricut cuts to make the characters you want!
I also love to death how you build a scene with your LO's. I think you may be the very best with that!
Not sure I would have thought of this color or paper combo but it works so well together...
Also love how you added the gems to all the title (how many packs did you use! LOL!)
