Celebrate 4th of July

This was one of the hardest layouts so far.. These aren't really the colors I'm used to or the cuts I normally use.. I wanted to add a character from one of the many carts I own and so, decided on Hello Kitty.. I loved dressing her up on in the stars and stripes..
this layout has me, my kids, hubby and hubby's cousin with her daughter "Tianna"..she is just the cutest..
We were on the Mississippi river side watching the air show. I have many photos of the planes, but haven't figured out what to do with them just yet..
Here is a close up of Hello Kitty.. I stickled her with red and then icicle for the stars.

Supplies Used:
  • Cricut cart: Hello Kitty
  • Cricut cart: Plantin Schoolbook
  • Cricut cart: Storybook
  • Cricut cart: George and basic shapes
  • DCWV summer Glitter stack
  • red, white and blue cardstock

Eagle Point Park LO

We visited Eagle Point Park in Dubuque Iowa last summer while visiting family and friends. Dubuque is my hubby's home town.. Such a cute city to visit..loved being there!
Here are some close ups.. this One I cut the circle with the flowers using the Storybook cart.
I love the title font..I think its so awesome..
here's a close up of the corner flowers. which I stickled with lime green and turquoise.
I knew I wanted a fence and an open gate welcoming you to the park.. I love putting flowers and flourishes around anything..LOL I hand wrote the "welcome".
Just a close up of the other fence.
and finally a close up of the city and state which were so lucky to visit.

Paint Ball Layout-haaste#10

On our vacation to Florida last summer to visit family and friends, my guys got the chance to go paintballing. Oh! they had so much fun. I really wanted to make a FUN layout..with lots of color! I used a lot of the blue, cause the balls they were using were blue.
Here is the left side of the two page layout.. My boys are in black and their twin cousins are in white.. OH! and their cousin Kaia joined in on the fun with her friend, they are in grey!
this is the right side of the layout. these are my guys.. Adam is on the top and Aaron is on the bottom, all masked and ready to go.. My hubby is on the bottom left pointing to his shirt where he got hit...LOL
I wasn't sure how I wanted to title this layout, so I this is what I came up with.. I think its cute and fun..

here is a close up of hubby pointing to his spot..LOL He's just a big baby..LOL
close up of my guys! Aaron on the left, Adam in the middle and my hubby Mike on the right. remind you this is mid June in Florida, I'm sure they were dying from the heat..
Poor Aaron(on the left in black) got it right on the mask and it splattered through.. Funny! The boys in the white t's are cousins Damian and Julian.
Here hubby is getting everyone ready..load em up boys! and girls..LOL
