You're Berry Sweet- PPPR reveal

It's another Wednesday reveal for us ladies over at Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbon and for this week, I decided to make a layout using some of the fun cutting files from the PPPR store..
I'm one of those crafters, where I'm always thinking out of the box.. I love using different cutting files or should say combining cutting files to create fun and whimsical layouts and/or cards..

For today's layout reveal, I actually used images from 4 different cutting files..
and of course my cute little girl back about 14 yrs ago  :)
I added some journaling strips just so I can journal and dates on the layout on a later date..

How about some close ups and details of the layout:

I used the flowers and leaves from the FLOWER ASSORTMENT cutting file..
and I found a fun free font that came already in the boxes.. saved a lot of time :)

My little sweetheart.. She is turning 25 in May, I can hardly believe it myself..

The swirly vines are from the FRIENDS FOREVER cutting file..
I just welded two of them together
I also added some Glossy Accents to the centers of the white flowers..

I also wanted to use one of the cute wagons in the PUMPKIN PATCH cutting file..
just so you can see that you can use those cuts for more than just Autumn projects :)

and finally, the cute yummy strawberry's.. Those are in the VALENTINE'S SWEET'S cutting file.. I once again decided to not use the dipped chocolate part of the cutting file.. Best part is that all of these files come in layers, so you can choose what you want to use and what you don't wanna use :)

Now, don't forget to grab the Friday Freebie:
Smile Title Cutting Files
and there will be a new freebie this coming Friday 2.28

Another Monday Project Life reveal for us ladies over at SOUS and for this weeks challenge, we challenged our design team to create a pocket with a pull out card.. How fun right?...
I decided to create me week3 pages for this challenge, trying hard to keep up with the weeks..
the photo isn't too bad, but its really difficult to photo these and I don't know why, need to figure out how to make em better :)
and remember to click on the photo to make it bigger..

This is what I created:
a bit blurry yes.. sorry about that...
'
loved using the cloud cut out card and I did add some text to it before printing and cutting..
same with the other cards..
having so much fun creating my own cards with the SIL software..

My pocket is behind the week title .. I'm going to add a photo to that card as soon as I get them developed..
I added a die cut snowman, fun word labels along with snowflakes and a border..

For my project, I decided to make a fun and whimsical Birthday Card.. I've come to realize, you can never have too many birthday cards in your arsenal..LOL

Here is what I created:

Isn't she just the cutest?..LOL
I found this adorable little girl and that delicious cake in the "Make A Wish" cutting file..
I was trying to make her look like she was hugging the cake :)

few close ups:

Here you can see how I was able to create layers using foam tape.. Then added lots of little details with a fine tip white marker and Cotton Candy Stickles to the cake.
I also decided to not glue her bangs down and gave her rosy cheeks, just to add yet another fun detail..

The strawberry's look so delish, those are in the "Valentine's Sweets" cutting file. You can use them with or without the dipped chocolate which comes with the cutting file.... Yum!
I normally use black ink, but I loved the pink and yellow of this card, so decided to go with a pink ink for the sentiment stamp, I used "More of My Favorite Sayings" stamp set by My Creative Time.. Which by the way, I love love love.. I really wanted the sentiment to stick out, so I grabbed one of the fun banners from the "Sentiment Spots 3" cutting file and then added a bit of detail with my white marker..

I love love love these fun lollipops, those are also in the "Valentines Sweet's" cutting file. I chalked  the edges with pink chalk and then added some detail with my white marker (love my white marker)..<--lol p="">

Hope I didn't forget anything..LOL

Umbrella-Die Cut challenge reveal-SOUS

Oh gosh!! I'm so freaken happy it's Friday...
I am so excited to share with you a layout I created for our Die cut challenge over at SOUS to use an UMBRELLA on your project.. I decided to create a boyish layout, not necessarily a masculine layout, but a fun whimsical boyish layout :)

So, here is what I created:

Love love love the rain drip clouds.. Found those in the Silhouette store..
The photo is of my son Aaron back 2006 while we stopped off in at a Georgia rest stop to stretch our legs.  We were driving from Florida to Iowa.. It was such a nice drive.. Oh and our son Adam and daughter Amber are in the background of the bigger photo :)

How about some close ups and some details on how I created my layout:
close up of my kiddos..
You can just see some of the rain drops in the smaller photo as he was walking back towards the car..

Here you can see the right side of the layout.. I added some strips in different colors, just to add some fun color and balance to the layout..

My over sized umbrella.. wanted to stick with some fun prints instead of a solid..

The fun clouds.. I love these clouds :)  I added the white line trim onto the background papers using the Silhouette Designer Edition Sketch (continues edge sketch) and print only option..I also added some chevron patterns, just to keep the flow of the layout..

For my title.. I added some fun fonts in different colors to the inside of the nameplate along with a tiny rain cloud and umbrella..  I used the print option and only cut around the edge of the nameplate.. I also found a fun rain drop border which I used along the bottom of the layout:

Everything is attached with foam tape to add dimension..

now, for the list of supplies used:

Silhouette Cameo
Silhouette designer edition
Canon Pixma home printer
White Premium Paper : semi gloss 200g/m2

For the background prints:
Digital Paper kit: 100% boy (Sweetshoppedesigns)

Silhouette images: Die Cuts
Nameplate
large hollow circle (created myself)

Foam tape and white marker..

and don't forget about our amazing sponsor for the month of February over at SOUS:
