The Splendor of Christmas

Good Sunday morning to you all..
Christmas is slowly, but surely creeping around the corner and I love making Holiday layouts..
Here is a layout I spent the last few days working on. The photo is of my hubby Mike, our youngest son Adam and in the back is our son Aaron and daughter Amber.. We were at Santa Park here in Finland for the holidays with my in-laws back in 99.. The kids had such a great time while we were there..
Here are some close ups and all of the details..
I have enclosed the download file if anyone is interested in the design.. You will have to separate all of the cuts, I have not done that for you.. I just copy and paste as I go...sorry!

Just click Here for the file..

close up of the title.. I really like how it came out.. my fingers were so full of glue by the time I got done with the title, that I'm afraid I got it all over the place..

The other part of the title..

A close up of the mantle of the fire place.. I like the way it turned out.. I forgot to add the stockings though..LOL

Cake&Coffee has its Perks..

Hi everyone...
Its Friday again and its reveal time at SOUS..
This weeks we had a sketch by Aymee Gandy aka Southernbellscrapper.. I thought it was a brilliant sketch and so glad we were able to use it..
The challenge information is located on our challenge blog Stuck On U Sketches.. Hope you get a chance of checking out the other designers this week and joining in on the fun..

I made this layout for my best friend Kati.. She is into the coffee theme and I wanted to make a layout for her to hang up in her room..
The photo was taken in the summer of 08 while we were visiting family and friends down in Florida.. She is celebrating her birthday  with her twin brother Jari..
I don't know why the color of the photo itself is so red, its not like that at all..sorry about that though..

Here are some close ups and all of the details to the making of this layout..

Winter Wonderland-SOUS

Here is a layout I made using the sketch from STUCK ON U SKETCHES this week..
I had so much fun making this layout and using the Christmas cuts on various cartridges..
I had a hard time choosing which cuts to use, I like them all..LOL
Here are some close ups of the layout.. the little reindeer heads are tags that pull out.. I haven't journaled anything on them yet, I have to really think of something sweet.
The tag in the middle is the date and location where I took the photo at.. We were at the Helsinki International airport getting ready to board out plane.  We were going to the States to visit friends and family for the holidays.
This was our first visit back since we moved back in 1996.. the kids were so excited..
They always make silly faces when I tell them to pose..

Supplies Used:
Cricut cartridge: Winter Woodland (Title)
Cricut cartridge: Doodlcharms (reindeer heads)
Cricut Cartridge: Tags, bags and boxes (tags)
Cricut cartridge: Joys of the Season (garland and flower)

Sitckle: xmas red, evergreen, gold, cinnamon
zig black marking pen (doodling and journaling)
pop dots
