Happy hump day ladies..
I'm so excited to share my project with you today.. For this weeks challenge we were asked to use three items from our BINGO card (pictured below)
and I chose the following: Stamps, Ribbon and Pearls.. I decided to create a library drawer for today's challenge.. I've seen a lot of those beautiful 7 Gypsies drawers and decided to create one of my own, from scratch using cardstock and shadow box file I bought from the SIL store..
Here's what I ended up creating:
The ENTIRE library box is made cardstock :)
Here's a view from the top.. you ca see all of the fun tags I created..
side view, you can see the faux wood effect I created with distress inks and a black marker..
added a Tim Holtz book plate and some roses from Iamroses, butterflies are Prima..
The legs are also from Tim Holtz and added some say it with pearls, plus leaves and ribbon.
Here you can get a better view at the faux wood effect..
a close up view of the fun tags I created..
I have some close ups of my favorite tags:
the phrase is from the SIL store, I just created the fun card using some squares, adding the phrase and then using the print and cut edge option in the SIL software..
This tag was fun to create.. the chocolate chip cookie and jar are an actual die cut I had found the SIL store. Same thing with just using the print and cut edge option.. The phrase is my own making with some fun fonts.
This phrase is from the SIL store.. Thought it was appropriate since I basically only bake with chocolate..LOL
the bowl and rolling pin are die cuts from the SIL store..
I don't drink wine, but thought this was so cute..LOL oh, and added the word "roast" cause you get roasty when you drink too much wine..
I also added some file folders that I decorated the outside of.. The fun card I created myself with some fonts and a spoon die cut..
and I added a bunch of these tab file thingys, I just took a photo of a few of them..
The words on the tabs I created myself using a fun font, I also used my Bo Bunny stamps on all of the tab files..
and before I added everything to the drawer, this is what the base of the drawer looks like:
then I added the legs and book plate:
For supplies used to create this library drawer:
