Pastels Challenge-WW reveal

As Spring  is slowly (very slowly) sneaking up on us, the girls over at Whimsical Designs was challenged this week with a Pastels challenge.. Stephanie gave us a photo for inspiration and I decided to create a Birthday card for my niece who just turned 15 about a week ago..  She is into skateboarding and after a little searching through the Silhouette online store for a skate board, I came up with the idea for this card:

I figured pastels was a great choice of colors since this is for a girl..LOL

Here is the inspiration photo:

and for some close ups:

I thought to use a road sign for the placement of the sentiment..

I attached most of the die cuts with foam tape and added some faux stitching to the edge of the card

for added detail, I inked the edges and then added dots of different colored Stickles.

for supplies used:

Silhouette Cameo
Sil design edition software

Die cuts: Silhouette Online store
Canon printer

Sentiment stamp: Whimsical Designs
"Whimsical Fun collection!"

Prints: Digital kit
White cardstock
Stickles
foam tape
Black fine tip marker
inks: colorbox chalk inks

That's my Wednesday post for this week..
I want to thank for stopping by and checking out my birthday card for one of my nieces..
Do stop by Whimsical Designs and check out what amazing projects the rest of our design team members have created for this challenge..
I hope everyone has a scrap-tastic week
Hugs
