Spread Your Wings

Wow!! this makes how many posts this week?..LOL  I'm on a scrappy roll and dont' know why..LOL
I've been so happy being able to create a few pages and a little extra, which I posted yesterday.. I absolutely love making those keep sake boxes by the way..
You can even add legs to them so they dont' have to sit flat on the counter..OMG!!off topic there aint' I..LOL
back to my layout...LOL
so, I'm still having issues with going through my photos that I have in my box of photos, cause I'm afraid of seeing my dads photos in there and those will just get the tears flowing and I'm trying to take a much needed brake from the tears..
I have been stalking my daughters FB page as you all know and I have scrapped this picture before, but this layout I made for myself as the other one I had made for her..
She moved out of our home about a year and half ago and so I wanted to make a memory page of that part of our lives.. so, here is the layout I made:
There is a branch and a birds nest under there some where I swear...LOL  One of these days, I'm gonna challenge myself to a "Less is More!" type of layout... I had no plans on using such big flowers, but there they are anyway...LOL   But all in all, I really like how it came out..
and for a few close ups:

  2. This is just a beautiful layout Nanne. I'm not sure about the less is more theory, this is your style, and it wouldn't be a Nanne layout with less.... The whole thing comes together beautifully, you have a way with embellishments, as if they are just meant to be there.... I Love it... Hugs xx

  3. Well, I am glad that someone is scrapping cause that wouldn't be me! (Do have one that I have to keep under wraps but outside of that .. nada! Love this one .. so soft and feminine. MY philosophy? More is more! That's how I like them! Hoping that your energy will rub off on me. But things are still kind of crazy busy around here. Just a few more hurdles and I get to scrap my heart out!
