Brothers-SOUS reveal

Is it February already?..Wow!! But, that means spring is just right around the corner..Woo hoo!! I've about had it with this winter and all the snow that just won't stop coming down... LOL
But, on a positive note, SOUS is having its first reveal for February.. Yea!  Leah picked out this months sketches and I loved the first one.. Here it is:
and here is my take on the sketch:
The are my boys(Aaron on the left and Adam on the right).. These photos were taken a few years ago while we were visiting family and friends in Dubuque, Iowa.. the boys were goofing around by this big gated wall .. My dd took these photos.. The other photo, my boys are standing behind their great uncles hot rod..
and for a few close ups:

The Journaling starts the title, It reads " It takes two boys to make one" and then arrows down to BROTHER..
The journaling I again used some computer generated journaling when I cut apart, stuck to colored paper and then added some matte accents on the top..

The title Brother was cut using my SCAL software and the font is called "cheddar salad!"<-- how fun..LOL I then added some matte accents to it as well..

All the stars are hand cut from the papers by My Minds Eye..

I'm trying to be verstile when it comes to making layouts,  its really difficult for me when it comes to masculine layouts.. I really love the way this came out and I hope you do too..LOL

for supplies used:

Papers by :
My Minds Eye "Complete Boy" stack (one of the best buys I've ever made)

cardstock: red, light blue and dark blue

Black ink pen for faux stitching
computer generated journaling

Cricut Cartridges:
Songbird: big marquee
George and Basic Shapes: big Oval and triangle

SCAL software for Title "Brother" (font: Cheddar Salad)

Okeleh, Dokeleh.. Thats it for me for today..  Go check out the Design Team's work on SOUS's blog.. by Clicking HERE..  They have certainly outdone themselves this week :)
Thank you all so much for stopping by and taking a look..
Hope you all have a great and creative weekend..
