Hi fellow scrappers..
I'm here to share my layout with you today that I created as my design team project for Creative Embellishments. I have decided this year to put to use the items I have been holding onto and this paper collection by G45 is one of them.. This is my second project using this paper line and I have lots left, so more project to make :)
Here is the layout I created for todays reveal:
So many amazing chipboard elements to choose from..LOL I love, love, love the fish net panels and for this layout, I used the Fishnet panel 2, which is more distressed.. I used only half of it and this way, I can use the other half on another project.. Such a great way to get more for your buck..
I also added a few sea shells, tucking them behind my flowers and for I added mini art stones to my chain frame, which I had cut into two, to make it look like barnacles. I also found some left over chain pieces in my stash and glued those down to the side of my layout and then the metal key that I've had in my stash forever..
I took one of the Nautical captains wheels, cut a piece off the bottom and tucked it above my flower cluster and added the title to the top of my photos. I left my title raw chipboard, just dry brushed the edges with white gesso..
Of course, I had to add a light house to my nautical themed layout cause it just wouldn't of been nautical without one.. LOL added a few shells and then found a small TH glass vial in my stash, filled it with mini art stones and glued it to my layout.. I also used that little captains wheel piece and glued it to the bottom corner, this way I was able to utilize all of my pieces..
and there you have my layout for todays reveal.. I had so much fun playing with layers and papers that I normally would not of used.. Step out of your comfort zone now and then, play with items you would normally be afraid to play with cause the you just might like the end result..
Thank you for stopping by today and checking out my project..
Till next time..
Hugs
