Masculine canvas-CE daily

Hi fellow crafters..

I'm here to share a 12x12 canvas I created as my design team project for Creative Embellishments.

My hubby and our two boys are all mechanics by trade and the boys work for their dad.. So I love going in and snapping some photos now and then.. I decided to create a fun masculine canvas using some of the amazing chipboard elements from the Creative Embellishments store..

Here is the canvas I created:

I decorated my canvas using scrapbook paper, then created the frames using the chipboard elements. Once I had the frames placed, I added the piping, gears, etc.. This was a lot of fun to create..

BABY word album

Hi fellow scrappers.. I'm here to share the BABY word album I created as my design team project Creative Embellishments . It was a lot of fun and when using your craft knife to cut the paper around the edges, its pretty easy as well..

Here is what I created:

I used the new Heaven Sent paper line by Prima and then lots of cute chippies and wood veneers to accent my album and pages.

How about we get to the good stuff:

   

 as you flip to the first page of the album, I added her "just born" photo. cute little wood veneers to the left and then a chipboard element, flowers and a few butterflies to the right.  Its hard to see, but I covered all of the chippies with Frosted Lace Stickles so they shimmer.  

 I gave the album to my daughter, so she can fill in all of her details.. These photos were taken the day as she was in the infant ICU for since she had swallowed some fluids and they wanted to put her on some antibiotics.   She is a trooper :) 

   

 I tried really had to keep the pages simple and not wanting a lot of bulk, which is definitely a challenge since I like to add a lot of embellishments.. 

 and the happy family.. last page of the album.. My daughter holding her daughter for the first time since she had a C-section and was in recovery over night.. There you have my baby album.. these are so much fun to create and I can't wait to start on the next one :) Till next time.. Hugs Nanné   p.s. From This Moment

Hi everyone.. I'm here to share a layout I created as my design team project for Creative Embellishments. This layout is for my grand daughters album.  I love receiving photos from my daughter as she holds her first baby and you can just feel the love.. All of us moms know that from the moment the baby comes to this world, our lives are forever changed..

Here is my layout:

I used the papers from the Prima's new Heaven Sent paper collection.. I'm totally in love with their paper line..

 

I also used the larger sentiment from the "From This Moment!" word set.. painted it white and adhered it to the photo.

The flourish I used is a heart shaped corner flourish, I used the smaller one and I cut it into several pieces.  One I adhered to the right side of the photo and the other to the left side of the layout as you can see here:

I also used soft pink, white and maroon colored flowers to accent my photo..
