Theme Thursday Reveal-MCCR DT

Welcome fellow scrappers to My Cricut Craft Room's Theme day Thursday reveal.. For today's theme we were asked to create a project using SHOES and to add the color Pink to support breast cancer awareness..  I love using pink on my layouts so it was a real treat to create this layout and I had so much fun putting it together.. adding details here and there, finally had to stop not to over do it...LOL
so, with that said, here is my layout for our reveal:

I used a lot of different Cricut cartridges to create this layout and I absolutely love how it turned out.. I will add a photo to this layout once we return from our vacation in Florida.. I'm hoping I'll have at least one lazy photo of myself..LOL

Here is how I created this layout:

I started off by cutting the fence from the Bloom cartridge.. shadow in white and then in pink polka dotted paper, both are cut at 3".. I chalked the edges with pink chalk and then attached them to my layout with foam tape.. I also added a pink bow on my photo frame for breast cancer awareness..

The topiary's are also on the Bloom cartridge, they are both cut at 3", added some drops of pink liquid pearl. The Bikini is on the Life's a Beach cartridge, which is cut at 3".  The little flowers are a punch!

The branch is cut at 3" and can also be located on the Bloom Cartridge.. The butterfly is on the Indie Art cartridge and is cut at 1.25".. adding some drops of white liquid pearl to the centers..

My cute little pink flip flops.. I'm hoping these will pass for the SHOES that we were asked to use..
I cut the flip flops from the Life's a Beach cartridge at 3" and then when I glued down the straps, I only glued them at the ends and in the middle.. adding some liquid pearls ..

The font is from Pooh Font cartridge.. I cut it at 1.4".. Inked the edges with distress ink Dried Marigold.. added some liquid pearls (can you tell I love that stuff..LOL)

I love way the title turned out..I cut the pond from the Create-a-critter cartridge.. There is no shadow cut, so I cut two of them, one being a little bigger.. The white is cut at 3.5" and the blue is 3.25".  I then wanted to try to tuck the word SUMMER in the water..  The little sea weed bits are also on the Create-a-Critter cartridge, I cut those at 1.5", added some small punched flowers.

My IMAGINE ation Monday- MCCR reveal

Wow, is it Monday already.. Welcome fellow scrappers and I'm so excited you've stopped by today..
I have created a card to share with you and its all with my Cricut Imagine and the Snow Angel Imagine cartridge.. This was fun, quick and easy to create, when I was done I actually had to recheck to see if it was possible that I got it all done in under a hour.. which is quick for me..LOL

so, with that said, here is my card for today's reveal:

This card measures 6"x6" and the background is an image that's ready for print..
I printed it at 5.75"x5.75".. I added some accents on the trees with a white marker before attaching the rest of the die cuts onto the card..

here you can see, I've attached everything with foam tape.. plus, I decided to try a go with glossy accents again.. added some onto the N &W on the title, the little critters on the bottom of the card, the white accents on the jacket and boots, plus some on the snowflakes.. whew!! LOL

the little boy is cut at 3", but I cut him in white as well just little bigger 3.25" which I used as the shadow.
finally adding some drops of liquid pearl here and there :)

The sentiment can be found on the Winter Frolic cartridge.. cutting it at 2" to fit the card..The snow flakes are on the Winter Woodland cartridge, those I cut at 1.5"..

The Big Game Mini album-die cut reveal SOUS

Welcome fellow scrappers..
I'm so happy that you stopped by today to see what I've been working on and trust me when I say "this took some working on!"..LOL
Us girls over at SOUS are having our Die Cut Friday reveal today and our very own Sandi Clarkson chose today's die cut theme and its "PUT ME IN COACH!".. anything to do with sports..

Since we live in Finland, we don't have any sports activities that my kids are interested in and so, I don't have any photos of them doing any kind of sports.. other than playing video games and I don't think that would qualify as sports..LOL
So, I decided to grab some of our vacation photos from a few years back, when my brother-in-law took our boys and my hubby to a baseball game.. two of them actually, one was a night game and the other was not.  I mixed photos from both games into this mini..
and so here is my project:

This is a mixed size mini album.. and it measures about 5"x7".
I used the Complete Boy collection by My Minds Eye.  The title is on the Graphically Speaking cartridge and the stars are on George and Basic Shapes.  I found the shield on Create-a-critter under phrases..

and for the inside of the mini album:
My sons and their twin cousins at the ball game..I wanted to incorporate some baseball sayings and then the die cuts.  The baseball and bar are on Boys will be Boys cartridge and the baseball hat is on Pooh & friends..love that hat by the way, enough so that I actually used it three times in this mini..LOL

My son Adam is on the left and Aaron is on the right with his cousin Damian in the background..

The boys are all on the left side and then their uncle Trent is on the right with my son Aaron in the star and his cousin Damian in the background.. My hubby took all of these pics, so I had none of him..

the boys!!  The balls and gloves are on the Boys will be Boys cartridge..

I ran out of photos and couldn't find that file on my computer anywhere..So, I added a pull out tag onto this page for me to add another photo as soon as I find them..LOL

and the last page.  I need to add something onto the left side page, but haven't figured out what yet.. These manly mini's are a bit difficult for me to create... but I had a lot of fun with it :)

Theme Day Thursday reveal- MCCR

Happy Thursday fellow scrappers..
Us girls over at My Cricut Craftroom Blog were asked to create a project using the theme FALL FOLIAGE..
I love Autumn, its my favorite time of the year.. The colors are amazing and the cool change in weather after a hot summer is such a blessing..
So, when we were given this theme to create with, I jumped at the chance..Then the creativity hit me, make an Autumn wreath on a layout and then I found this adorable photo of my son and his girlfriend, so the title was a breeze..LOL

Here is my project:
sorry about the photo.. The sun wanted to give me a hard time when I snapped this, but the close ups are better, I promise..

so, with that said let me tell you how I created this layout:

First of all, I grabbed some of my Bo Bunny "Forever Fall" papers,
I've decided to try to use some of the papers I've collected over the years..LOL

I started out by cutting a large circle silhoutte 9.5"  using my George and Basic Shapes cartridge..
Then cut different colored leaves from the Doodlecharms cartridge.  Sizes varied from 2" to 1.5".. randomly placing them on the wreath. I inked and chalked all of the edges on the leaves..
The acorns are on the Create-A-Critter cartridge, those were cut at 2.5"..

I absolutely love these pumpkins.. These are on the Imagine cartridge "Enjoy the Seasons",  they are cut at 4".  I first cut them attached and then separated.. I layered them with foam tape and then used a stamp sentiment on the banner..
The sun flowers are on the Walk In My Garden cartridge and they were cut at 2".

The title is also on the "Enjoy the Seasons" Imagine cartridge.. I foam taped that to my layout as well, I like giving my layouts lots of dimension..
the edge punch is a Martha Stewart punch..

and finally the love birds.. My son just turned 19 in July and is head over heals in love.  His girlfriend is a real sweet heart..

100 Cart Hop- MCCR

Welcome to My Cricut Craftrooms 100 cartridge blog hop..
I'm so excited you stopped by today..

You should of arrived Here from:  Erica's Projects

If you just stopped by and want the join us for the hop, you can start the hop at My Cricut Craftrooms blog

Collectively the design team uses over 100 different Cricut Cartridges in their projects during the two days of this hop.
What an exciting weekend..

I created three layouts I want to share with you, so this will be a super long post, just bare with me..LOL
for my first layout, I chose to use Boys Will Be Boys cartridge:

I started by cutting a large circle 10" with my George and Basic Shapes cartridge, in light blue.
Then added the clouds which can be found on Create-a-Critter. the round clouds are cut at 2.5" and the flat edge are 3"..
the little planets are on Every Day Paper Dolls and are cut at 4" and 6" for the bigger one.. I cut them in half and tucked the cut side under the circle, I didn't want it to bulk out..

the space ships are on the Boys will Be Boys cartridge and they are both cut at 3.25".  the little stars are on George and Basic Shapes, which are cut at 1".

The shooting stars are also on the Every Day Paper Dolls and are both cut at 5".. I chalked the edges with orange chalk and then added some detail with white marker.. The moon and the title font are from the Boys Will Be Boys cartridge. The moon is cut at 3" and the font is cut at 2.25"..
The little aliens are also on the Boys Will Be Boys cartridge, they are both cut at 3"..
The title is also cut at 2.25" and in many colors. It's located on the Boys Will Be boys cartridge..

and then for my second layout:
I wanted to use one of my all time favorite cartridges and that is "COUNTRY LIFE!"

This is a layout I created of my daughter and friend Sini.. I had a lot of fun adding the prints off of the Imagine More cartridge along with the cuts from Country Life.. I think they look pretty good together..
There is a glare in the photo from the sun, I apologize, but Mr.sun wanted to join the party..LOL
I started off by printing the background prints with my Imagine and then the large circle, which can be found on George and Basic Shapes, but if you use CCR then  you can find a circle cut in the Cricut Basics..
My cute little chickens are all cut at 3".. which I then attached to my layout using foam tape.

Mr. Porky is cut at 3.5" and this title font is 1", cut twice.. once in dark brown and then again in white.. there is no shadow for this font, but you can create you own..
the "CHICKS" is cut at 1.5" and is located on the Country Life cartridge under fonts..
The banner is also on the Country Life cartridge.. I cut the brown at 2" and then again in prints at 1.75".  The font size is 1".. I also attached the banner with foam tape, once it was in place I ran some glossy accents on the top and attached some twine..
small details, I added faux stitching with a fine tip black marker..

and for my final project for this hop:
I wanted to use an Imagine cartridge exclusively.. so, I signed up for
"NURSERY TAILS!"

and here is my project:
This was a super quick layout I got finished.. I haven't played much with the backgrounds that are available on the Imagine cartridge and so, I thought what a better way to create a layout for the hop than to print out the background..
Once again, sorry for the sunny glare..

the only die cuts that I added were the skunk at 4", the Mushrooms at 3".. which are both on the Nursery Tails cartridge..
The title is on the Opposites Attract cartridge.  The work Little (E is backwards on purpose) is cut at 1.25" and the cursive Stinker is cut at 1"..

The trees are cut at 5.5" and I foam taped all of the die cuts to my layout.. adding small drops of white liquid pearl here and there..LOL
this layout took me under a hour to create.. So, use those background images, they are well worth it..

ok then fellow Hoppers..
I want to thank you for stopping by today and looking at three layouts.. I had a lot of fun creating them..
Your next stop will be:  Jessica at http://www.craftinandstampin.blogspot.com/
