Memories-Frosted Designs Reveal

yes, ladies.. you are not mistaken.. I am scarpping myself, again...LOL  I luv rummaging through old photos and I was actually looking for a few others for another project I'm working on and came accross this one.. It was taken back in 1999 while my in-laws were visiting us for the first time.. gosh, I look so young and skinny..LOL
I also played with my Imagine again, can't seem to keep my fingers off of it...LOL
I used the Imagines "Lori's Garden" cartridge and cut some simple designs with it and only used whit cardstock for everying.. I luv that everything matches!!
and just to let you all know that this will by my last design team project for Frosted Designs.. My 6 month term is up.. I want to thank the ladies of FD for allowing me on their amzing DT and I really enjoyed working with all of the wonderfully talented ladies over there and I hope you stop by there often and get inspired by the awesome DT..
Oh...almost forgot to share the amazingly cute sketch we worked with this week:
and here are a few close ups of the layout:

my beautiful prima flowers and I intentially wanted to stick with white.. I  luv how their simplicity looks on this layout.. plus, who can resist a little prima..LOL
Oh an I did some stamping as well.. I cut the flourish and then made a stencil with the left overs..
stamped some randomly on the layout, added the flourish and then punched some small flowers and added pearl drops to the centers..

and finally, a close up of me.. I was a super blonde back then..LOL  I've toned down a bit in the last few years...LOL

and for the list of supplies used:

Papers: white and cream cardstock
Cricut Imagine
Lori's Garden cartridge
Home Decor cartridge
Tim Holtz distress ink. Peeled paint and
Rusty Hinge
ink applicator
pearl halves by papermania
Prima flowers
leaves by: Iamroses

I think that does it for me for today.. I love how this layout came out and I really enjoyed working with this amazing sketch.. You can really add a lot of your own detail to your layout using this sketch.. So, with that said.... Stop by Frosted Designs today and check out what the other amazing DT members have created using this same sketch...

  8. Beautiful layout Nanne! I have to agree with everyone and say that I love the stamping on your layout. Something we don't see much of from you. I recently also started using my stamps. They don't do much use laying in the drawer! Love your mix of pattern papers along with all of those beautiful flowers!!! I will miss you at FD!!
