Gears- Free SVG file upload

.So, I ventured out on the web and found an image of three gears and played around for the very first time with Inkscape and finally was able to make these cuts into a SVG.file and thought to share it with you if you have SCAL

I've split the image into two files and you can of course lay them
out on your layout or card anyway you like..

Just click HERE for gears #1
and click HERE for gears #2..

Here I have cut them with brown cardstock and then heat embossed them using Tim Holtz distressed embossing powder: Rust!!

HOpe you get some use out of it..
and p.s. if you are having any problems getting the files to work, PLEASE let me know..This is my very first shared SVG.files..

  1. Love you blog and your work.
I have given you an award.
Hop on over to my blog and get your award.

  2. Love the gears! I especially love that you are still making use of Inkscape and SCAL despite the outcome of the settlement. Power to the people y'all. Thanks for sharing your cut files!!! These will be perfect for all those masculine pages and cards. Now you just have to share a tutorial of Inkscape... I have SUCH a hard time with that program!

  3. Their are other cutters out there that aren't so shy about using SCAL.. This file isn't set for any one particular cutter.. :)

  4. Just a quick note to let you know that a link to this post will be placed on CraftCrave in the Cutting category today [31 Mar 01:00am GMT]. Thanks, Maria

  5. How cool are you?! Was it easy to do? Did you have to do any tweaking to the image before cutting? Could I possibly ask any more questions? LOL! TFS!!!

  6. Wow! Are you sure this is your first creation? It's wonderful!! Thank you so very much for sharing!

  7. Thank you so much for this post. I want to let you know that I posted a link to your blog in Creative Busy Hands Cricut Freebies Search List, under the Elements post on Mar. 31, 2011. Thanks again.

  8. Oh Thank you! I was on the MTC forum and did a search - I need some gears for a motor cycle page I'm doing and your blog was listed! Wonderful!! I think you've just found a new follower :)
