Country Christmas

I spent a few hours last Sunday trying to design a FUN layout project for me to do this week and well, here it is..I love how it came out.. Exactly the way I wanted it to..
These are my 3 kids Amber, Aaron and Adam.. This was Christmas eve 1999 when my in-laws were in town for a visit.. We had such a great time that year...
okey dokey then... Here are some close ups of the layout and details below that..

This is a close up of the title and my youngest son Adam.

I love the these two little sock critters.. It was my first time making these, so their not exactly perfect...
the nose on the bear (yes! its a bear..LOL) slid a little and now you can see the glue, but its not that visible on the actual layout..

few close ups of the faces.. they are cute aren't they?

and the bear!!..LOL

Here is a close up of the little gingerbread men I made.. the first batch that I cut, I had accidentally used too dark of a brown and when I inked the edges with black, they looked like I had actually burnt the cookies.. funny!!

The gift boxes and some close up detail on the hears and stars.

and last but not least, a close up of the Christmas ornament..

sorry that one is a bit blurry...tried three times to get a better photo, but no luck!! sorry...

not sure what I like the best...I really like some of the paper choices, like for the gifts and the title. they have a worn look to them..and your stockings and friends turned out way better then I even thought they could have by seeing the DS sketch.
