Delish-Flourish Die cut reveal-SOUS

TGIF fellow crafters.. I'm so happy to share a layout I created for our Flourish Die cut reveal for SOUS..
I decided to use some of the photos we took while we were on our road trip last weekend.. We stopped at a nice plaza to stretch our legs and then decided to sit by the lake under the blazing sun and eat some ice cream..   Here is what I came up with:
It does kind of look like a big mess doesn't it..LOL  I added the flowers with some flourishes underneath them, plus an iron gate behind the photo's..

How about some close ups:

The iron gate.. I made my own black glimmer mist, but its really hard to see it in these photos.. everything was misted black except for the big black circle..

My mom and I eating ice cream.. you can see the lake behind us in the photo.. It was absolutely beautiful sitting out on that deck..

The title sash and a close up of the butterfly..

I added some swirls using liquid pearls..

My hand made flowers and branches..

for supplies used:

Clean and Simple-Whimsical Designs Reveal

Well, Helloooo fellow crafters.. So glad you stopped by today to check out my take on a CAS style card.. Let me start by saying " oh boy, was this ever a challenge!"..LOL  I'm sure everyone has figured out that I like to load my projects with lots of stuff, so playing it simple really did make this a challenge..
So with that said, this is what I came up with:
I like how I went with the using the same color theme.. The black, white and grey really make the card elegant..

I watched a video on how to add faux stitching to your cuts using the silhouette software.. made it so easy and no more trying to figure out if the lines are straight or not..LOL

When I was browsing through the sentiments, I wanted to use one that I hadn't used before and when I see this one, the song started playing in my head..LOL  Its why I added the piano :)

We have a great sponsor this week:
3 digis of winners choice..

for list of supplies used:

Silhouette Cameo
Silhouette Software

Die cuts: Silhouette Store
White cardstock
Canon Printer
Digital Papers: Echo Park Bamine collection
White ribbon
foam tape
Sentiment stamps by: Whimsical Designs
Everyday Sentiments

and there ya have it.. This card was quick to create and I really enjoy the end result..
I want to thank you for stopping by today and do stop by Whimsical Designs to check out what amazing projects the rest of our design team has created for this challenge,

Horse Play

Its our first sketch reveal for the month of July and I'll be the hostess with the mostess this month..LOL  Meaning, Its my month to host the challenge at SOUS..  I wanted to start July off with a bang and so designed a happy and fun sketch for you to play with..
Here is my take on the sketch:
yes, its another horse layout..LOL  My daughter has been taking lots of photos while she's out at the stables in the afternoons.. She takes him out to the big field of flowers and says, he's like a little kid in a candy store.. She also says its fun to watch him roll himself around the flowers, since he is an old man at the age of 25, you'd think he wouldn't be able to do that stuff any more, but he surely can..

Here is the sketch:

How about some fun close ups:

I thought this photo of him was so funny.. He's showing off to the ladies by making lots of noise..LOL
He is such a beauty or should I say handsome...

for supplies used:

Silhouette Cameo
Silhouette software
die cuts: Silhouette store

white cardstock
digital papers: SweetShoppeDesigns: Faith

I used Echo Park papers and then some die cuts from the Cricut library and so, this is what I ended up with:

layered some Echo Park papers and finally added my die cuts with foam tape, last but not least adding some drops of white liquid pearl and the sentiment by Whimsical Designs..

Here you can see the snow flake trim around the card..

Project Life reveal for SOUS

Whooooooooa... hold the phone.. Is it Monday already?...LOL
I'm so late with my post for today, Hubby's been keeping me busy at the garage helping him with customers, as if I know anything about cars..LOL..
I really want to share a Project Life page with you that I created for our first PL challenge of July.. The month of July is my month to pick the challenges and to create the sketches.  So for todays PL challenge I chose for you to use 2 Journaling Cards on your page.. I know, I know, I know, most of us do that anyway.. So, how simple is this challenge?
Here is what I created:

I was able to create these cards with the Silhouette Designer edition software.. I was also able to do all of my journaling on the cards, printing them and then cutting them with the text added.  Love that feature by the way..
Here is what my design looked like before adding the photos..

I love playing around with the digital elements in Silhouette Design Edition software.. So much fun, seriously.

for supplies used:

Silhouette Designer Edition software
Silhouette Cameo
Canon printer
