Beautiful summertime-CE reveal

Hi fellow scrappers..

It's Nanné here sharing a summer themed layout I created using the new leaves chippies..

Here is what I created:

I found an older photo of my grand daughter in her water bucket enjoying a hot summer's day and I knew I had to incorporate it into a layout at some point and no better time than the preset..

I started with a plain piece of white cardstock, added my pattern papers, then the chipboard pieces, flowers and leaves.. Inked the edges using Distress oxides and then added some background stamping.. finally added some white to my flowers at the end..

I absolutely love all of these new leaves that can be found in the Creative Embellishments shop.. These are definitely a favorite for me..

I also used the Distress Script stamp and some black ink to add detail to my blank background..

Here is a close up of the leaves and the waves panel pieces that I cut up..

and there you have my layout which was such a blessing to create..

The Best things in Life

Hi fellow scrappers..

I'm sharing a layout with you showcasing a photo of my grand daughter. I used the new chipboard leaves and the mini quatrefoil panel and some beautiful butterflies from the Creative Embellishments online store. 

Here is what I created:

I also used a few stamps to create my background: Distressed Crackle and Distressed Script stamps.

I adore this panel and I used distress oxides to color my chipboard and the flowers I used are by I am Roses..

I used several butterflies which I painted white and added a few drops of Nuvo  Crystal drops in dark pink.

Most of the items I used on my layout were left overs from previous projects, just goes to show far these chippy sets can stretch..
