From my kitchen to yours

 Hi fellow scrappers..

It's Nanné here sharing a fun layout with you today..   My little 3 yr old grand daughter loves helping out in the kitchen, especially when it comes to decorating cookies... I found some really cute chippies to go with my kitchen helper theme and so here is what I created:

and that smile totally melts my heart every time...LOL

I painted all of my chipboard elements with burnt umber craft paint, then dry brushed with white paint, adding some details using the Flourish stencil.. I also had a few left over pieces of background panel, so added those to the sides of my layout:

for the cutting board, I covered it with light texture paste, then added the lines to create a wood plank look.  painted it with burnt umber paint and dry brushed it with white paint..

I like creating fun title clusters on my layouts and wanted this to look like the piping bag created the title..

and there you have my cute "Little kitchen helper" layout for todays reveal.. Thank you for stopping by and checking out my project..

till next time.

Hugs, Nanné

It's a Boy mini album

 Hi fellow scrappers..

It's Nanné here today sharing a mini album I created as my design team project for Creative Embellishments and YouArtists, using the 6x9 junk journal cover from Creative Embellishments, they make great mini album covers as well.. I covered my album with white cardstock and then added my pretty papers,a little washi tape and chippies..  The papers I used are by YouArtists.

Here is what I created:

I decided to use one of the clipboards from the set to add a photo mat element to the front cover.. and instead of painting the clip gray, I decided to keep with my color scheme and went with blue..

I added white cardstock pages and decorated those with pretty papers and with the left over paper, I punched different size circles and used those to create some tabs for my pages..

for my title sentiment for my album, I used the It's a Boy and then added the little baby booties underneath, plus one of the star pieces, which I painted yellow and cut into two pieces, adding half to the bottom and half to the top ..

I also decided to cover up some of the white space by using the circle lattice stencil and then the distressed script stamp and some blue ink.  Here you can see the clipboard better.

thank you for stopping by and checking out my project.. Till next time

Live in the Moment

 Hi fellow scrappers..

I'm here today sharing layout I created for Creative Embellishments and cross posting as a design team project for Youartists..   The chipboard elements I used for my layout are from Creative Embellishments and these beautiful papers are by Youartists.

Here is what I created:

I used the circle star frame, cutting it in half and tucking the ends under my papers.. added some flowers to the ends of the cut edges. I also used one of the new stencils and some distress oxide to create my background to my layout.

I cut some polaroid frames using my big shot and a die set, I thought those went great with the title sentiment since we capture moments in photos.

and I love the Morrocan lattice and you can get lots of projects out of the one by cutting it into pieces.. for this layout, I painted all of my chippies white and finally a few enamel dots to finish the layout..

Thank you for stopping by today and checking out what I've been working on.. Till next time

Hugs, Nanné

Happy mail home decor

 Hi fellow crafters..

It's Nanné here sharing a home decor piece I created using the large Truck back chipboard piece.  This measures almost 12" in width and I decided to create a pocket in the back with the truck piece by gluing a few Popsicle sticks to the back to hold it up.

Here is what I created:

I painted mine using chalk paint, then used some sand paper to roughen up the edges..  I then took the letters M A I L from the large FAMILY word set and created my fun sign..

I tied big buffalo plaid ribbon to my truck and then added some fun wording using the "Happy Holidays!" word set, then a little wood veneer xmas tree.

and what's a xmas tree decor piece without some hanging lights, so added those to the top of my truck, plus I created a few envelopes using my punch board..

and there you have my home decor piece for todays reveal.. Thank you for stopping by and checking out my project.. Till next time

Wish

 Hi fellow scrappers..

It's Nanné here sharing a layout with you that I created for my grand daughters album..  We get to spend a lot of time with her and she has wished to get her finger nails done when she seen I had mine done, so we made her wish come true... She absolutely loved it and of course I had to document that for her ..

Here is the layout I created:

I used some background stamps and a fine tip marker to create the background for layout, plus some background chipboard elements (as I like to call them) tucking some behind my photo mats and papers, etc..

I used both of the sparkles from the sparkle set, I thought those would be a fun touch to a "wish" themed layout with the title sentiment to match.

I did not color my chipboard elements this time, I used them as is but did dry brush them with white paint along with my flowers and then added a few drops of white paint onto them for accent.

and I absolutely love adding some panel pieces to my layouts.. They add such a nice little focal element to your projects..

and there you have my project for today's reveal.. I want to thank you so much stopping by and checking out my layout.. till next time

Hugs
