At the Zoo

Hi fellow scrappers..
I'm here to share a little whimsy with you that I created as my design team project for Creative Embellishments . We took our little grand daughter to the Palm Beach Co zoo last Summer when we were visiting family and friends in Florida and I was so excited to get some of those photos scrapped.. So, this is what I created:
I wanted to add lots of photos to my layout and she had such a fun time seeing all of the animals.

Totally in love with these cute little flamingos.. They were easy to color using distress oxides and a black marker to mark the beak.. I also created my own flowers, cutting them out of cream colored cardstock and using the same distress oxides to color them..
One of my favorites is this wooden sign, added my title to it and love how it turned out.
Added a few of these adorable frogs to the top corners of my photos..
and there you have my little touch of whimsy for todays reveal.. Thank you for stopping by today and checking out what I had created for today's reveal.. till next time
Hugs

The snuggle is real

Hi fellow scrappers... It's NannĂ© here to share a cute layout I created of our grand daughter cuddling with her grampa who absolutely adore each other.. These are the moments we want to remember as they grow up way too fast..

Here is the layout I created:

for this layout, I decided to keep the chipboard as is because the color went with the background of my layout, since I matted all of my printed papers onto brown cardstock..

I loved the hearts and used the smaller ones by tucking them behind my flower clusters.

I used the both of the flourish from the set.  One of them I put on the bottom of the photos and other as you see here, is added to the top of my layout..  I also got a good use out of my butterfly punch, adding a few here and there.

One of my all time favorite sayings for sure, its so cute..
and there you have my layout for todays design team reveal.. thank you for stopping by and checking out my project.  You can find a list of all items used at the bottom of my post..
Hugs

Snow Beautiful

Hi fellow scrappers.. I'm here today to share cute winter themed layout I created as my design team project for Creative Embellishments.  My grand daughter is definitely my favorite scrappy subject now a days.. I am so lucky that we get to spend so much time with her and that I get photos of her daily from my daughter..

Here is the layout I created using a few of the winter photos I received of her:

This is definitely one of my favorite layouts that I've created.. I love creating whimsy style layouts and was able to create a fun layout using a few of the beautiful chipboard sets from the CE store.
I wanted to create a playful title, so I used the "snowman" from the Snow word set and cut the "man" part off from the end being able to just use the word SNOW.. clever girl..LOL  Then I used the Beautiful, from the Girl Word set.. Painting both white to match the colors of the layout.

I absolutely love the Snow Man Pieces chipboard set.. I used that hat by painting it white, wrapping some fun twine around it and then adding the flower, leaves and twigs, making it girly :)   I also used the large snowflakes set, cutting some in half to get more and to be able frame my layout using a few of the snowflakes.

To add some fun texture to my layout, I used the new Distressed Patterns stencil and some textured paste, plus the Distressed script stamp with  black ink is always a fun way to add that touch of detail.

I also used these cute little mittens from the Snowman pieces set.. Painted them white, added some fun twine around them and a drop of pink Nuvo drops to the center of the snowflakes..
and there you have my layout for todays reveal.. Thank you for stopping by and checking out what I've created and don't forget about the Valentines Day sale going on in the Creative Embellishments shop, get more for your buck..

Till next time
Hugs
