Happiness

 Hi fellow scrappers...

It's Nanné here sharing an Autumn themed layout with you today.. The title to my layout says it all, this little girls smile gives me so much happiness..  We here in Finland go mushroom picking each fall and we know which ones to get from experience.. Her mom took her out one day and they found some good ones..

Here is the layout I created:

I started my layout using a white piece of 12x12 cardstock.. I inked the edges using vintage photo distress oxide, then added some background stamping using the distressed text and distressed grid stamps and with a black maker, I added the lines.

The papers I used are by Simple Stories and the flowers are I am Roses..

I combined some chipboard elements and wood veneers.. love the fall leaves set and the butterflies..  I also used some of the cutting board chippies and created a fun cluster of goodies along with a photo..

I also wanted to show case my papers so used a few pieces of the mini quatrefoil panel, tucking them behind my papers and then I cut one of the fancy frames into two, using half to showcase my journaling card.

and finally the title sentiment.. layering your embellishments gives it such a fun look, I also tucked a few mushrooms away behind some of my embellishments..

Thank you for stopping by today and checking out my project for todays reveal.. I hope you found some inspiration to get an Autumn themed layout created for yourself.. Till next time.

Hugs

Nanné

Play

Hi fellow scrappers.. It's Nanné here sharing fun Fall themed layout using some of the amazing pumpkins, some fall leaves, brick wall pieces and a fun mesh background panel...

Here is what I created:

and of course I had to add some fun photos of my grand daughter while she was playing at day care last week..

I created my background using Rusty Hinge and Red Brick distress oxides and then adding some random stamping and finally using a stencil and some white paint, which I applied with a make up sponge..

I attached the pumpkins using foam tape, just to give them some dimension.. I colored them using distress oxides by Ranger and then dry dabbed them with white paint..

These little brick pieces were fun to play with.. I colored them red brick distress oxides and then brushed the edges with vintage photo distress oxide.. adding some dry brushing with white paint..

and there you have my project for today's reveal.. I want to thank you for stopping by today and checking out my project.. Till next time

Hugs, Nanné

 Hi fellow scrappers..

It's Nanné here sharing a spook-tacular Halloween themed layout with you all as my design team project for Creative EmbellishmentsOne of the many things I miss living abroad is Halloween and I wish I could share the holiday with my grand daughter some how.. We have how ever begun finding Halloween decorations and costumes at the stores the last few years..

I bought my grand daughter a witch's hat and really wanted to get her photos on this layout but she is turning 3 next month and has a mind of her own and a very strong will power ..LOL

So, here is my layout:

I had high hopes for some cute grand daughter photos for this layout, but she had other plans..LOL

How about a few close ups:

these spiders are awesome.. I loved adding them to my layout, some crawling around and others just hanging about ...

and I adore the witch's hat.. and of course, I placed it there for the photos of her with a hat as well.. No such luck, yet...

and there you have my project for todays reveal.. I want to thank you so much for stopping and I hope you found some inspiration to create a spook-tacular layout of your own.. Till next time.
hugs

Nanné
