Bloom and Grow

Hi fellow scrappers..
I'm here sharing a layout I created as my design team project for Creative Embellishments using a photo of my grand daughter sitting in a field of dandelions.. I love the stencils and stamps in the CE store.. They make creating backgrounds on your layout so much fun..

Here is what I created:
I started with a 12x12 piece of white cardstock.. rubbed some "wild honey" distress oxide on the edges, adding a stamp border.. I also used the distressed chicken wire stamp and the distressed scrip stamp.. finally added some details with the vine stencil and texture paste..

I'm totally in love with this leaf flourish.. I decided to hang one from the photo mat cluster and added a few hand made flowers and leaves to it..

The other flourish, I added to the top of my layout.. I added some flowers and leaves to that as well.

I wanted to create a playful title to the my layout, so added some flowers around it and the flower pot..

and there you have my layout for todays post..
Thank you for stopping by and checking out my layout, till next time.. Hugs

Greeting card set-CE daily

Hi everyone...
I'm here to share a few greeting cards I created as my design team project for Creative Embellishments.. I wanted something on the larger size, so decided to create two 8 1/4"x 4" cards with color matching envelopes, used stencils and stamps to create my card base.

Here is what I created:
I had a lot of fun creating these two cards.. Just letting yourself experiment with different textures and colors..

I used the "From This Moment" word set on this card.. I felt like it could be lots of different occasions, from retirement to a new job, even graduation or birth of a new baby..  For the base of the card, there are lots of stencils and stamps used, plus distress oxides..

and I pretty much did the same for my pink card.. Just used a few different stamps and stencils..
these were a little different from my usual, stepping out of your comfort zone can be so much fun :)
Thank you for stopping by today and checking out my projects..  Till next time
Hugs

Boys will be Boys

Hi fellow scrappers..
I'm here to share a masculine layout I created as my design team project for Creative Embellishments, using some those awesome gear chippies and stencils from the Creative Embellishments store.

Here's what I created:

This was one of the most fun I've had in a long time creating this layout.. I started with a white piece of cardstock, added lots of fun detail to the background using several of the stencils and the distressed text stamp from the Creative Embellishment store, distress oxides and some black archival ink.

I love the colors for this layout and added those to the title sentiment and the gears.. it was fun playing with color..

This large gear corner set was great and it was perfect for my layout..

I was able to use some of my favorite papers for this layout, they are by Simple Stories..
and there you have my layout for todays reveal..

Thank you for stopping by today..
Till next time
