Make A Wish-SOUS

I'm so delighted its Friday again.. I couldn't wait to post this cute little layout I put together for our weekly sketch over at SOUS (stuck on U sketches).

I adore those cute little paper pieced teddy bears and have been trying to come up with own design for one..I think SHE turned pretty darn cute..LOL

I put the title up on the left hand corner instead of the bottom.. I felt like the layout was missing something having that empty corner..LOL

Happy Birthday- Generations Crafting DT post

Happy Tuesday everyone..

I've had a few days to try to get some scrapping done and well, I made this cute little layout for Generations Crafting.. 

I was lucky enough to get able to use the new Nook and Pantry line from Basic Grey. cute papers I tell ya..

These photos are of my dd Amber when she turned 4 years old, Aaron my oldest son is sitting on his dads shoulders and Adam my youngest was in my tummy...LOL

Gosh, I look so young in these photos..

Sorry about the glare in the actual photos, but these were taken outside this morning and I guess the sun was giving me a hard time..LOL

Grandmothers-SOUS

 TGIF everyone.. Us gals are having our weekly reveal at SOUS again today, we have a great sketch this week and it was so much fun to work with.

Here is my layout and my take on the sketch.

I went through my grand mothers photos again trying to find some of her in there and I found these two that were taken at my cousins wedding back in 1997.. She looks so healthy and happy!!

I found a great quote on scrapbook.com that I hand journaled on some paper strips and then inked the edges

which I pop dotted onto the layout..

I also made my own flowers this week.. They really have become a great passion of mine.. I never look at real flowers the same again. :O)

Cute As A Button-SOUS

 TGIF everyone..

Stuck on U Sketches is having its weekly reveal again today and this is my take on this weeks challenge..Our Challenge was to use Buttons on a layout and I made my own using my cricut.. 

*Is there anything that machine can't do?..LOL

Here are some close ups of the layout:

 My youngest son Adam when he was about 4 months old.. He was a big boy!!

 Close up of the title.. wasn't exactly sure what colors to use, but I think the brown came out pretty cute..

I had actually placed the A´s upside down by accident and my son came in and told me to fix em..LOL

See, they do care..  :O)

 I wanted a patched look to the dye cuts and so cut little squares and inked the edges, added some small dots on the four corners with a fine tip marker and then added some fake stitching.

 I used my cuttlebug and the Tiny Mosaic folder to emboss the giraffe, I think it came out great.. I'm so loving my new cuttlebug..  :O)  Thnx again Sabrina..<3

Wedding day-DT layout for Generations Crafting.

I finished another layout for Generations Crafting.

I got these beautiful papers by Imaginisce "To Love &Cherish" 

I haven't any of my own wedding photos since my husband and I got married alone, just the two of us on Valentines Day, so I found these old photos of my mom and dad on their wedding day back in 1967..

Gosh, they are so young in this photos.. They are actually coming out of the church..

Its not really a vintage photo, but cause its black and white, I didn't want to use strong colors.  I had these beautiful Primas in my stash and wanted to layer them all around the photo..

and then some Bo Bunny wedding rub-on's..

Best of all, is the frame.. Its a flea market find for $2.. wow!! The inside of the frame measures 12" x 6", what a perfect frame for less than nothing..LOL

This is also for my DD and I will be giving it to her tomorrow..  What girl wouldn't want a framed wedding photo of her grand parents ??   :O)
