Summer Beauty-DT for Generations Crafting

For this layout, I used Bo Bunny's Vicky B papers, cut the big circle with my cricut then added the pink lace trim and the string of pearls.. I then added a smaller doily behind the photo mat and yet again, added pink lace and string of pearls to that.. Glued down the "Stop & smell the flowers" and then started clustering my flowers, starting with the biggest green one and working my way out.. The title font stickers are Basic Grey and the white flowers and leaves are by Iamroses..  The flourish I cut using my cricut..

These new Primas are absolutely mouth watering..

Little Wild Flowers-DT for Generations

ladies.. I promised a few more posts using Prima's awesome and beautiful flowers and I plan on keeping that promise.. 
This is another layout I made for Generations Crafting..


 I used Basic Grey "Green At Heart" paper collection and mostly Prima flowers..

I added the doily for the trim to give it some more flair and then added the string of pearl with glossy accents.. best stuff cause it dries clear!! 
All the pink flowers are Prima's and then the little white ones I found at my craft store and the leaves are by I am roses..  The title stickers came with the "green at heart" collection..  Oh and I added a little hat pin with a charm on it that says "play".. The photos are of my Amber when she was first learning how to walk.. Gosh, that seems like ions ago..(don't tell her I said that..LOL)

Prima Flower DT project for Generations Crafting

Was I surpised when I got a surprise package from Floren Boynton over at Generations Crafting and when I opened it, it had a bunch of beautiful Prima flowers in it.. I contacted Floren and she asked if I would create something with them.. yeah, I'd Loooooove to..
I love flowers, so it was my pleasure...LOL

For this layout, I thought to use the orange flowers and then then some of the little orange roses, which I thought were brilliant and so cute..

I used a plain white carstock base, added a Websters Pages dye cut which I had cut , then added brown cardstock for the photos mat with a yellow one on top of that.. Hand made a vine, first I added the leaves and then adding the Primas after I had wired the vine to the layout
(makes it easier to postition the flowers this way)..

finally adding a few ribbon blows and pearl drops.. Oh, and the very last thing I did was clear emboss the butterflies (which I stamped) and then using Tim Holts distress inks: Mustard seed and Vintage photo, I inked all around the edges of the white cardstock, wipping the excess ink off of the embossed images with a paper towel..  "Summer" is cut from the Storybook cartridge and the "lazy Days!" are stickers from Basic Grey.

I think this came out pretty cool looking..

Bo Bunny Vicky B- DT project for Generations Crafting

How in love am I with these fabulous new Vicky B papers by Bo Bunny?  I was able to get two beautiful layouts done and in no time at all..

this first layout is of Amber, of course..LOL  I love these funny faces she makes and I think they are so much fun to scrap.. She will appreciate all of these pages when she is old and gray..LOL

So here is the first layout I made:

I actually colored in those flowers on the bottom left hand corner with just regular chalks and then heat embossed them white.. Once the embossing had cooled down, I rubbed some of Tim Holtz distress ink(worn lipstick) over it and look how cute that looks..

I also found some white prima roses and pink hydrangeous in my stash.  Added a few green leaves and finally some bling & pink ribbon which I tied in little bows.

The bling are actually "say it with crystal" frames by Prima. I cut one side of the frame into three pieces and placed it randomly on the layout.. seriously, it is randomly..LOL

and then for the second layout I made using the same Vicky B collection...

This layout was so hard to make.. I actually designed it and made it without the photo.. Added the photo at the very last second..

The photo is of my dad, whom you all know recently passed away and this is his second wife , they are getting married.. He looks so handsome in his suit..  This photo was taken about 12 some years ago and this is how I will always remember him, Healthy and Happy..

So, Here is my layout:

 

I added some string of pearls around the outside of the circle, which is really easy with some Glossy accents.. it dries clear.. woo hoo!!  :)

The pink hydrangeous are Prima and the little white flowers are by ranger.. The leaves I cut using my cricut, some of the green papers from the Vicky B collection and "Childs Year" cartridge..

 The title "Forever" is cut using the "Home Decor" cartridge..

Oh! and I added some of the pearls into the centers of the flowers with some glossy accents.

I tried getting a photo of the actual picture on the layout, but it just kept being too fuzzy.. so, I decided it just wasn't meant to be...

Basic Grey "Green at Heart"-Generations Crafting

Hope everyone is having a fantastic week.. 

Floren over at Generations Crafting had asked me to create a few layouts using one of  Basic Greys older collections, and this one is the "Green At Heart!" collection..

Absolutely fantastic colors and I really had Spring in mind, but since I don't have many photos to go with Spring,I decided to use my daughters photos instead..LOL.. So, I have to put "spring" onto my "remember to take photos of!" list..LOL

So here is the first layout I created:

I absolutely adore this photo of my daughter Amber.. I think this layout will get framed some how..

and for some close ups:

Found a big white cake doily in the my stash and thought it would go perfectly with this layout.. then added some Pearl halves all around the inside of the circle.

Some of the title are computer generated and then the large letters are cut using my Cricut.

A small flower cluster I put together on the top corner..

and then the bottom flower cluster, which I made a big ribbon from the lace I used and added a hat pin through it, which I added a star shaped charm to since my daughter loves stars..

And then for the other layout I made using this same colleciton, but the colors are completely different.. Thats what I like about buying the whole set.. you can get so many wonderful designs out of one stack..

I found this photo of my daughter and I thought her hair color went perfectly with these colors..LOL

Did some heat embossing on the corners and used Antique Rust embossing powder..

I did a lot of edge distressing on this layout !

close up of the title: I used my SCAL software to cut the title using my cricut.. I used brown cardstock and then sanded the edges a little..

Here is a close up of the embossed corners..

and I love making clusters of flowers.. LOL

I actually love both of these layouts, even though I'm not such a big fan of Orange..LOL  but with the soft flowers and leaves, it came out super sweet!!

Basic Grey Marjolaine layouts for Generations Crafting.

Helloooooooo fellow scrappers.. 

Last year was so blessed having met Floren Boynton over at Generations Crafting and being invited to join her Design Team.. During the beginnins of this year, I've been playing with some of the paper collections she sent me to work with.. Basic Grey Marjolaine being one of them.. 

Honestly! the color palette scared me just a little bit,  but once I started going through the papers and pairing them off into several groups, I actually think I love this collection most of all..  I'm so happy that I got knocked out of my comfy zone and was forced to challenge myself with some new colors and prints that I normally wouldn't of bought..

So, with that said here are a few layouts and some close ups, of this collection..

 

I used some Prima flowers on this layout, The big white ones and the brown Rossetti.. The smaller white flower and brown ones are from Ranger.

I hand made the ribbon rosetti and used lots of  Basic Greys new glazed brads..I also did some heat embossing on the upper left hand corner.. Some butterflies and flourish by Tim Holtz and used white embossing powder.  I also added one embossed butterfly onto the tag.

The white flourish, title and light blue leaves were cut using my cricut..

 and then for other layout I made using the same collection.. I'm really happy how different they look even though the papers are from the same collection..

the design of the layout below isn't my own.. I was browsing around the internet one night and came upon a beautiful layout similar to this one...I've embellished it completely differnt, so it looks as if we used the same sketch..LOL

For this layout, I used Prima flowers and Basic Grey Glazed brads.. I also had some Prima bling in my stash that I though was perfect for this layout.

I had some what of a hard time coming up with a title and then I found this title over at scrapbook.com in their referance are.. Its a great place if you need some help coming up with a title..

So, thats the two layouts I created using the same paper collection from Basic Grey (Marjolaine).. I also created a mini album with it.. should be able to locate that by clicking HERE..

Basic Grey Olivia line layouts for Generations Crafting

So! Who doesn't like Basic Grey?.. I love their papers even though at times I do struggle a little with some of their patterns..  I was so lucky to be able to create a little something with their OLIVIA line.. Beautiful pink papers and since I have a daughter, I couldn't wait to find a cute photo of her from my box of photos..

Here is my layout:

 I've seen a lot of layouts that a stencil was used and then sprayed with glimmer mist.. I experimented on this layout a little.. I cut a flourish using the Cindy Loo cartrtidge and then placed it on the cardstock, sprayed it with pink glimmer mist and then heat set it with my heat gun.. then just layered the papers next to it..

I also watched a ustreme video (hope thats spelled correctly) and on that video she  was talking about layering flowers and I thought to try it her way for a change.. Looks good!!..LOL

I wanted to add a doily to the layout, but was having a hard time getting it to fit right.. so, I cut one down and then fan folded it and finally glued it underneath the papers.. fit perfectly.. I also found a pink jeweled little crown charm in my stash and added that just below the flower cluster..

Close up of the bottom flower cluster with some white pearls by Prima.. The leaves are from the "Home Accents" cartridge, cut at 1.1/4 " which I folded in the middle and then inked them with light green ink.

I found a cute little sticker that came with the OLIVIA line..It says "It can't get better than this!"  I stuck it down on the side of the photo and then covered it with Glossy Accents..  I also used my Marthat Stewart edge punch for some of the top trim below the doily..

 and then I made another one using the same paper line but a few different prints.. I love the way it came out:

made my own tag and then some computer generated journaling.. which I cut into strips and then inked the edges..

Some Primas and buttons.. Made my own leaves using my cricut and the Home Decor cartridge..

The title I cut using my "storybook" cartridge and then I added some Glossy Accents to it.. The word "little" I printed on white cardstock using my computer and then cut the letters individually, inked the edges and glued them underneath the paper..

Okey ladies.. This layout was so much fun to do.. I love trying new things and this had a lot of them..LOL

Forever in Love-SOUS reveal

Us girls over at Stuck on U Sketches are revealing our very first sketch and the very first challenge of the new year..

I know we've all been busy with the holidays and then getting over the hang overs from celebrating the New Year..LOL

I was lucky enough to find some time to create this layout using our sketch.. When I looked at the sketch, I immedietly seen it as a two pager and so, decided to just go with the flo.. After all, these sketches are to inspire and for you to use it to your liking.. right? right!!!
